This was exactly the kind of place my wife and I were looking for. Even though it wasn’t busy you could tell that the oxtail was going to be good. My only regret was that we didn’t have more time to destroy the larger portion. Pineapple soda complimented it perfectly and I was happy they had some Scotch bonnet pepper sauce on hand to tie it all together.

We ordered oxtail and curry chicken. We waited a while for them to I guess heat it in a microwave. The rice was dried and not fresh. We were overcharged and my hubby and I got bad diarrhea after. So, we are never going back. They are dirty. Beware!

A small is really a mini, and you get two small pieces of meat and with the medium you get an extra small piece of meat just more rice…anywhere else you get plenty of meat and rice and peas and a true small size.

So so place. The place needs some tlc. The oxtail was ok not bad not good. The rice and peas were dry. Hubby and I got turned off. I’m not sure if I’m going to try again. I really love Caribbean food. Specially Jamaican, but that oxtail with rice and peas were not up to the part.

Stopped here for lunch and was surprised to see it was open. I had the brown stew chicken and it was pretty good. The only problem I have with this restaurant is there’s no set time that it opens. They claim they open at 11 am but, I have been there at 12 or 1 pm and it was closed. A consistent schedule would be nice. Parking is not ideal however, there is a paid garage down the street.

Delicious curry goat. Ring the bell if nobody is at the counter. Came here after hiking Anthony’s Nose. Lots of Army guys getting takeout. They have two tables, though. I was the only one eating in.
