I got the fried salmon and grits with creole sauce and a side of Mac and cheese. My food was good the Mac and cheese could have had a little more cheese in it but the flavor of it was different then the normal. The salmon and grits were great. It was kind of expensive but everything is going up now a days.

I patronized K’s Fish and Grits on March 11, 2022. This was my FIRST visit. The customer service wasn’t good, friendly or inviting. As, I wasn’t greeted upon entry. But trying to remain optimistic I spoke and mentioned it was my FIRST time trying their establishment and didn’t quite know what all they had. There were no suggestions offered and just nothing to engage the consumer (me) to want to purchase. Again unfriendly service. So anyhow, I ordered the Catfish and Grits. Even the owner came out to the register anid she didn’t greet me! However, the owner/cook( a lady/K?) had time to talk with the two workers in the register area while my food was been prepared. Then the owner says after several minutes (about 15-20) says I’m waiting for your food to get done.

I first I wasn’t really going to make a review but hopefully she excepts constructive criticism well especially when you are in the food industry or any industry for that matter as an entrepreneur I always love to support black businesses as I want myself. I feel like the food was overpriced and not worth it I don’t ever mind paying for good food!! My chicken wings were undone!! My fish was mushy / greasy and the breading was was FALLING off. The macaroni and cheese completely inedible was NOT good at all (taste or presentation etc.) the grits! Was No!! Stiff flavorless The only thing that I will say was edible was the fried okra because that’s previously frozen… Customer service was OK I believe If she get a good chef back there she can go far … unfortunately my video would not upload

The food was good, but the cashier was not well versed in customer service. She treated the customer ahead of me in a rude manner, and he was nothing but nice to her eventhough they were out of almost any menu item he requested.

Unprofessional, rude, and ghetto. I placed an order online for my family and I via Uber eats. Fish and grits is one of my favorite meals so I was pretty excited to try a new restaurant. Upon receiving the meals 3 of the dishes looked great except for the lamb chop meal. The rice was old and hard. The lamb chops appeared to be old and not cooked to order. Things happen, I wasn’t upset I called the restaurant with the intentions to have to meal replaced for a fresh meal. The young lady that picked up the call initially was extremely rude and short. It appeared that no matter what a customer said her reaction is to respond in a ill manner. I then asked to speak to a manager whom stated her name is Kenya. I advised her of the issue and she consistently spoke over me and said everything is cooked to order despite what I had already explained to her. It was exhausting. So much so that I told her not to worry about it. The fish and grits is delicious but the customer service is horrific. Have A Blessed One

I came because of word of mouth today and was a little disappointed. I get that this is probably a family owned establishment by the many individuals in and out of the back during my wait for my food. I just hope they were not near the preparation of the food because several of them had long braids and had just came in from outdoors.
