The food was delicious and the beer was cold. The margarita was also well made. We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwiche with waffle fries and fried okra. The brisket and pork were flavorful and the BBQ sauce and toreados were good. Great job on the food…and service!

I was there today and I absolutely love this place. It was our first time there. I was always looking for something like this place and I must say that my husband and I would go all the way to downtown for these type of bar/dine kinda place. The server was great, very attentive and friendly. I the regulars were also greeted like if they were long time friends. This speaks good about this business. Will return and I will recommend to anyone. Food was great and so were the prices.

Was actually really surprised to have enjoyed the food! This place was previously another type of restaurant and it was our first time here, waitress was friendly and fast, food was delicious and very filling. My daughter even enjoyed her food! We ordered different entrees but everything was cooked well and the flavors were there. We got the Buffalo cheese sticks and loaded waffle fries for appetizers, I got the boil with spicy lemon pepper, my husband got the pork rib platter and my brother got the piggyback burger. Everyone was too busy eating we hardly talked to each other! Will be coming back! Also forgot to mention Rick the manager or owner of the location, was great! Super funny and asked us if we needed anything.

Food is all in the microwave. Some stuff on the grill to heat up. But never ate food made here. If y’all want this kind of food , got to vista by pulled pork n buns n then microwave it. Y’all will have the pig pen experience. The most dry food ever!!! Sprinkle some water at least.

My boyfriend wanted BBQ and The Pig Pen was the first restaurant I came across. The reviews were really good so we decided to try it out. We ended up getting the waffle fry nachos with brisket as our protein. When you go here you NEED to order this dish. The owner, Rick, came over and introduced himself towards the end of our meal. He was very personable and made us feel important (as did the other staff members). We’ll definitely be back next time we’re out here, to try other menu items. Thank you for the pleasant experience!

Shout out to Rick and the staff at Pig Pen! Their cooking is phenomenal lemme tell ya. I’m so glad I came down here with the fam, it’s been a long time coming but we finally tried it out. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth because they hook up your plate and you leave feeling real satisfied. The drinks and music were on point as well. We’ll be coming back real soon!
