Set as a speak easy…you go down steps in a back alley or you can take the elevator. They have a fine selection of Bourbon and Rye…Menu is great… flatbread, sandwiches, pizza. Servers dressed in period clothes. Great atmosphere….and service. I had a blood orange martini.

I heard of this place suggested by guys while at the Broad Axe last week, and decided to give the place a try. I got a cocktail and two beers which were fine. The cocktail wasn’t extraordinary (Whisky Cucumber, I Believe?) and it was pretty watered down, but refreshing. A band was playing which was fine, but it led into some groups crowding behind the bar seats and drunks dancing out in the open. My seat was bumped into several times and a guy even tripped into me while I was seated. Three bartenders were staffed but the chaos and groups of people crowding was a blessing and a curse. I honestly had no idea who was serving who and it took forever to be noticed. Service was mediocre for myself plus other customers were waiting forever to pay their tabs. I feel some structure is needed to keep both the staff and customers in check, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt that it was due to it being a weekend and the band. Anywho, a bad first impression. I will not be back anytime soon.

Went there for their drag brunch. ($30 tickets) Was greeted at the door with “Good luck finding seats.” There was one chair at the bar top. My wife sat and I stood. No one even made eye contact. There was a brunch buffet with burnt bacon, scrambled eggs, some grapes, one cinnamon bun, and some granola bars. Never got a drink of water much less the mimosa promised. How can you sell tickets to an event and not have enough seating? I emailed the establishment and never received any response back.

7 people in the bar and it took 30+ mins to get service. The place looks comfortable and inviting, lounge chairs, couches and tables. Outside patio is nice area also. They had a band who rock the place. But the service was a big let down. From drinks taking forever to not being able to get a cigar or anyone there with the knowledge of cigars. This place has so much potential but the staff is bring it down.

Great bar experience. Located in downtown Hagerstown. Great selection of beers and bourbon. Good selection of cigars. There is a very nice patio to enjoy a cigar. We did not eat here, but there was a menu. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. There was also live music. It was a good experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place. It really does give the feel (or what in my mind would be the feel anyway) of a hidden-away little speak easy. I bring my Mixology classes here after the last night of class for a little hands-on experience and learning, as well as tips and tricks from an additional perspective and the staff is always so helpful and accommodating to both myself and my students. I feel that in and of itself says a lot about the establishment and the cocktails and food I’ve tried have all been tasty and all have a nice presentation as well! I would definitely recommend checking them out!

They need to have burgers on the menu, I tried the pretzel bites and they were hard and cold. It’s a fairly nice atmosphere, but parking is a pain. The crowd was mixed with all age groups, but there were a number of overly flamboyant individuals that gave a negative presence. It was interesting for one trip, but there were too many negatives for me to want to return.
