First time visiting from New Harmony, Indiana. Sat at a booth overlooking the splash park and river. Beautiful view! The sun was in our face so I did draw the shade partway down. Service was very good. Prompt and attentive. Appetizers were pretty basic. But the pizza and the all meat stroms were very very good!!

Visit started out a little rough because we stood while a waitress came up to the hostess station and walked away. Then someone else seated us, but we sat unassisted for 10+ minutes. Fortunately we finally were noticed and everything turned around.

I really enjoy this place! I’ve been here a few times and their prices are good, drinks are good, wings are AMAZING. They have other food options too that are good. It’s a great location with beautiful views. The staff has always been nice and helpful and they have a lot of seating.

I personally thought the pizza tastes like a frozen pizza. We also had wings, they were gummy, could have been cooked longer. The server didn’t check on us much, and once we paid, she never came back.

I have waited to write this, because we always go to the one in Robards. The times that we have gone downtown to the one on the river and ordered the Stromboli it seemed like they just weren’t getting it right. Sometimes the dough was way too thick on the ends. It’s still tasted good, it just was not the same as the original. Well this time they got it right. So maybe someone has said something or the training has paid off. The flavor has been similar and is finally to the point where it taste the same as the original, and they’re actually fill the Stromboli the way the one in Robards does. The pizza is consistent, and has a great flavor. But if you find yourself going to Rockhouse, do yourself a favor and order the Stromboli the original to be exact. You will not be upset.
