While visiting Washington from New Jersey, I had the please of trying a cheasesteak, onion rings and a rootbweer. After ordering I was dismayed that they did not offer delivery. However I was blessed to have been speaking with a manager who offered to drop my order off to me on his way home because he lived one exit past where I was staying. The food was amazing! If I’m ever in the area again, Tres is on the top of my list!!

Tres House of Cheesesteaks is known for their… you guessed it, cheesesteaks. They pack their sandwich with lots of meat and other toppings, and if you like spicy, I recommend going the spicy route since it adds way more flavor. They have a smaller menu, but you don’t need much variation here to be honest. They do have good burgers as well, using the steak as the meat. Their onion rings are pretty good as well, make sure you get Ranch with them. Would definitely get this on a weekly basis, it’s filling, delicious and overall not too expensive for what you get.

Maybe the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had. My pregnant wife was craving a cheesesteak. She took one bite and got sick. They tasted like someone had just dumped salt all over the top of them. We brought them out and eat them immediately in the car and they were soaking wet rolls. One bite and in the trash they went. I don’t know if the quality of this place has slipped or what but our cheesesteaks looked nothing like the pictures that I’m seeing on Google. Also their address is wrong on Apple Maps. Make sure you go to the google address. Then it’s inside of a pool and dart bar that’s not even called Tres which is nowhere mentioned on the site??

WOW! What flavor! Now that’s a cheesesteak. The staff were super helpful and kind. The chef was helping the newish host who did his best and got everyone taken care of in a timely fashion. I’m moving out of state, but when I come back I’m coming back for a Tres House of Cheesesteak!

Wow! Wow.wow.wooow..this place is AMAZING! They have a spicy vegetarian cheesestake that is to die for. My partner got the regular steak and we could hardly tell the difference. Went back the next week and I got the same thing and my partner got the spicy chicken cheesestake and somehow they were even better!?! Anyway, get yourself a cheesestake from Tres, best in the city!

The person who took my order was super friendly and down to earth. Portions were generous which is always a plus! Good value for money. The food was also really good- I thought the meat was seasoned well and the texture was good- just the right amount of chewy but not gristly. I will be coming back!
