Coop’s is a Quincy “Must Eat At” restaurant. Regulars rule here so it is best to hit early for lunch or late afternoon for dinner. The Bar is the focal point and getting a seat is sometimes hard. Maria is the main bartender and she can handle the busiest days and you are never waiting for a refill. Today I enjoyed one of the Dinner specials. A fried chicken Bowl with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and Gravy. The portion was so generous I had dinner and lunch for tomorrow. You will not leave here hungry. One of the best draft Beer selections in Quincy that is always fresh. Everything is very good here and the Best Burger in town. Also if your looking for a after work place to go the dining room can accommodate large groups.

Food was really good, nothing out of this world in my opinion but worth the price. Service was great, all the workers were very friendly and attentive. It often looks quite slow from the street but every time I’ve gone in its much busier than expected, so there is a good atmosphere as well. Oh, and Keno! lol

Coop’s Bar & Grille is best explained as a Sports bar. It has SEVERAL TVs, all relatively new, and high resolution sets that are all on both local and nation wide events. The atmosphere is, for Sports fans, fantastic. The food, again for the expected cliental, very good. They have a variety of “Bar” food. Wings, Pizza, and great “Munchies” type dishes. Of course, all the popcorn you can eat. They have a good beer selection, both tap and bottle. The service is good, the tenders and waitresses are quick ( during big events and peak times it will be slower, as it will always be!) and all I’ve delt with are friendly and even funny! All the food I’ve ordered is good. You won’t be overwhelmed, but you won’t be disappointed. I definitely recommend it!!!!

This is the second time I have came to place and the service was terrible. I really believe they are racist. I sat for 15 minutes before anyone said anything to me. The place was not busy at all. To top it off I sat at the bar and the bar tender through my utensils. I asked for Gingerale and got seltzer water. I’m scared to get my salad now. Pray for me. Just to add once seated you are given popcorn I didn’t receive that either

Steak served from 5p until whenever. Ordered steak at about 5:30p. Half hour later they said they were out of steak. Tried to charge us for a drink we never got. Place is ridiculous. Never going there again!

Coops is a Quincy Point staple. Mostly well drinks and beers, food isn’t going to amaze you but it’s consistent and the atmosphere is great. Lots of TVs, outdoor patio with outdoor TV is awesome when it’s nice out. Dining room for trivia, events and occasional stand up comedy. Popcorn while you look at the menu is nice to snack on too. Drunken Buffalo Steak Tips, Chicken Parm and Fish Sandwhich are my go-to’s.

This was the only pub I have had that served homemade fresh wings. Their buffalo chicken dip was GREAT!! Very large servings, too. THIS WILL BE A MUST to visit whenever I come to that side of Mass.

Food & drinks were okay. Our waitress Kelli had only been their for two weeks and was struggling to stay on track I guess you could say. We ordered a mixed drink and a beer, and the drink came out completely wrong. I’ve been drinking them for over 10 years, it’s my favorite drink and I could tell off the first sip it had been made with another juice and liquor. She apologized said she’s new and made me another one after I explained to her what the drink consistent of. After that we ordered two dinners, one of the dinners was wrong when we got it. Instead of sending it back we just told her about the mistake and decided to shared our dinners and delt with it. After dinner we felt like ordering two more drinks. Well, she forgot one drink after asking what kind of tequila he wanted in his Long Island… and brought him out another beer. So we said nothing and decided to leave after that happen. I came to Coops over 10 years ago when I turned 21, and even though I’ve lived in Quincy my whole life, this was only my second time here, and it wasn’t the greatest experience. I’ve been a waitress before, and a hostess, and a bus person, and I can understand with being new and learning as you go, but that’s why you have note pads as waitresses..to write down what people say so you don’t forget. She seemed nice and was apologizing to us, but I would probably suggest her getting another job unfortunately. We most likely will give it another shot, hopefully it will be better next time around.
