Excellent. I asked the receptionist at my doctor where a good bbq place is and she said Howell’s BBQ. She was right. Everyone was nice. I think most people call in their orders. Next visit I’ll try the ribs.

Everything was bland..tastes how it looks….just a mid bbq joint. Got the jumbo sammy, but i guess the only reason it’s a jumbo is cuz the buns are bigger…. “where’s the beef?” The warm bun saved this review from total loss though…lol

Definitely to small business and crowded. At the drive though your wait is to long even if u have a call in order. Food is not as good as it used to be. Most of the time all we get is banana pudding

We were passing through on a trip down to Louisiana and luckily pulled off on this exit. Best BBQ, hands down. The brisket was flavorful and tender as well as the pulled pork. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Howells used to be the best in town. I could drink the sauce like koolaid. They changed the sauce, even though they say it is the same. We were going at least twice a month.

The BBQ beef brisket sandwiches are great. The setting is a typical BBQ spot. The service is slow so expect a wait. It took 1/2 hour for our order. The day we got our sandwiches the place had several large carryout orders. One was 11 plate lunches. Busy drive-thru service too.

I used to go there and get my money worth but today me and my fiancé went and asked for a rib plate and a jumbo pulled pork sandwich plate. We called in the order and we was told 10 minutes on the phone and when we got there we still had to wait another 15 minutes for the food. They gave me rib tips instead of ribs and gave my fiancé a small sandwich. On top of that the food was cold after we waited extra time. The sides was just so small for the price. This is not the way people want their food when they spend hard Earned money.
