I have never had a bad experience at Peace of Soul. I’ve even brought my non-plant based family to try their food and they have enjoyed it just as much as I do. Today I was BLOWN away. I had never tried their breakfast so I decided to order a few things to sample. I ordered a veggie omelette, a chicken sandwich, a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and hash browns. First of all, I want to stress how impressed I was with the presentation of the omelette. I have no idea how they did it but it was PERFECT! It was finger-licking good and sooooooo filling. I wasn’t able to try the sandwiches until hours later but they were just as good! This restaurant should be called A Peace of Love because I swear you can taste the love in every bite!

Delicious vegan soul food that struck me as likely being quite healthy as well as tasty! By which I mean a solid emphasis on the vegetables which were delicious in their own right. Portion sizes were very generous. When I went (April of ’23), the restaurant was take-out only, which seemed odd since you can go in to order. But that didn’t make the food any less good!

Customer service is great and restaurant is clean. But I couldn’t go for the food. I got the chicken sandwich with collards and Mac and Cheese and I have to say I am not vegan but my girlfriend is. Although I still very much enjoy vegan meals I did not enjoy the Mac and cheese at all. The flavor was strange and the recipe seems inconsistent from the pictures I’ve seen. And the collards were a little sweet but still good. My girlfriend felt the same way about both dishes. We didn’t eat the Mac and cheese at all and it went in the trash can. I thought the chicken sandwich was not bad and my girlfriend thought it was okay. But for $22 a plate for a chicken sandwich and 2 sides I was extremely disappointed and so was she. I’m glad other people enjoy this place but it is not for me. I’m very confused on the reviews and rave compared to my experience.

Amazing! I’m the only vegan in my family so when we go out to eat it’s hard for me get something or there’s no protein option for me. This vegan restaurant is really good, pricey but it’s justified with the amount of food you get. Definitely enough to have two or maybe even three meals. The desert options…so make to choose from. I had the eclair crunch cake and 100% would recommend. It was super moist and tasted amazing! I also came all the way from Sumter for this. I will be back! The young man working at the front was super nice and offered to answer any questions we had. Thank you so much for the delicious vegan food!

This place is hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had. I had the 6 side veggie plate for $15. The food was seasoned extremely well. The portion size was enough for 3-4 meals. I also tried their famous crispy fried chicken sandwich this was amazing and filling. The food was seasoned extremely well. I also had a side of biscuits that had great flavor. You don’t even have to like vegan food to eat here you can’t taste the difference. Highly recommend!
