This was my first time at a restaurant like this. We did have to wait and I definitely was not impressed with out wait staff. She never brought us the sushi we ordered and was very aloof. Luckily, our 5 year old and 2 year old were uncharacteristically well behaved for the hour wait (for our cook). When the chef arrived, the experience got so much better! He was funny, made us and the people we sat with (strangers) feel very comfortable and have a great time! The chef had our 5 year old laughing hysterically! It was really nice that he included everyone in the experience and wow the food was so delicious! We will certainly be going back as soon as possible and I highly recommend going here to anyone! Was so fun!

Stopped in for lunch once, and will come back. Good variety and quality at a fair price. Returned for a nice dinner, and the service was incredible. Keep in mind the “steak” entrees are already cubed up, so dont expect a slab of meat but it’s still excellent. Timely and EXTREMELY polite, we even were visited by the chef, and invited to sample their dinner! Truly honored.

We ALWAYS like this place. The food is delicious! The sushi is fresh and full of flavor. The mushroom soup is a favorite of everyone at the table and the shows are fun to watch. If time is limited get the very same food at the table rather than the grill and show. Much faster and tastes the same.

First off, we called in earlier the same day to get a 7pm reservation to sit by the Hibachi grill. When we got there promptly at 7pm. They said, “I see your reservation, but it will be another hour”. So we just choose to sit in the dinning side, not too big of deal I guess. It took about 30 minutes to order drinks and another 20 minutes to receive them from another waitress once we went up to the bar to remind them. Finally someone came around to take our order, my wife who is allergic to shell fish told them, “I am allergic to shell fish and cant have shrimp” when she placed her order. Well when she received her meal, shrimp was indeed in there. Luckily she noticed it before taking a bite. Took another 10 minutes to get her food. Was a pretty horrible experience and will not be going back there.

Went on a Saturday with a group of 6. It took forever even though they weren’t very busy. Then the food was horrible. The meat was over cooked and dry. The entire hibachi meal was tasteless. The cook never seasoned anything on grill. The portions were small and the chef was running out veggies towards the last few ppl. The sushi tasted good, but was told later that night the chef was in the restroom with his apron on right before making the sushi. How disgusting! I worry bout the cleanliness of this place and it’s staff. I’ll never recommend anyone wasting their time with Osaka. This wasn’t my only bad experience here either. If you want a great service and a hibachi meal go to Jenpachi.

We’ve been here a few times. The food is always really good. The service can be a little unpredictable. Some hibachi chefs are better than others. I wouldn’t let that scare you from visiting, just prevents them from getting 5 stars. Ebjoy!!

So disgusted and disappointed in this place! Went there tonight and ordered a roll to start with.. got our drinks and server asked if we were ready to order. We both ordered a hibachi dinner. Not only was our dinner brought to us within 5 minutes (hardly anytime to actually cook steak, shrimp and scallops properly) but before the appetizer. Tasted the food and it was as spongy and soggy. Still ten to fifteen minutes later and we still hadn’t gotten our appetizer roll. Pushed our barely touched entrees to the side and asked to speak to a manager when the server came back to ask us if we wanted another drink without bothering to ask how the food was or even when we would get our appetizer. The manager told us that we would have to pay for our whole meal because we had “eaten” it. Only thing he did was take off our appetizer roll that was still never delivered. Disgusting food, terrible service and way to expensive pricing for food that is disgusting. Never again would I dine there and will make sure I let everyone know of our terrible experience. My stomach already hurts.. should have thought twice about even taking a bite.
