We had first gone to another restaurant, and the girl at the counter just ignored us, and the restaurant was nasty, so we left. We were trying to find somewhere else and my dad said I want pizza. While my dad was at his appointment I noticed this restaurant in the same shopping center and knew it was Italian with pizza. We came here and we were seated quickly and the waitress was so attentive. We saw that they had a margarita pizza so we ordered the big one so we would have leftovers. When the pizza arrived to the table it looked and smelled fantastic. When I took a bite it was heaven! I have eaten alot of pizza in all my years in many different areas of the US. This pizza takes the cake. I swear this is the best pizza I have ever had. My dad is VERY critical of restaurants and he said that they had great service and that the pizza was fantastic. I have been craving this pizza for the past 3 days and I’m contemplating driving 35 minutes to just get this pizza. (we live 35 minutes from Rocky Mount). If you are in the area you really need to go to Mario’s. You won’t be disappointed

I will not be going here anymore and I’ll advise others to go elsewhere. My family and I came here for lunch and while the “lunch menus” reflect a much cheaper price, I was charged the regular amount. When I addressed this with the manager she states “the lawyer told us we don’t have to update the actual prices listed in the menu since we have a clause on the front stating prices have increased”. My problem with this is, I’m basing my check off of the prices you have listed but because of a broad clause you can technically charge me $15 for a sandwich if you want to no matter what the price is listed as in the menu. If the prices that are listed in the menu aren’t true then how about remove all the prices altogether. It’s misleading and false advertisement. I don’t care what your lawyer says you can “get away with”, you clearly have no care for your customers if you can’t take the time to go in and update the prices. It’s not good for business. The service was already slow with attitudes so like I said, I’ll be taking my services elsewhere and I’ve been a regular customer for many years.

I ordered the veal marsala. It was good with lots of sauce. I think it should be great served with mashed potatoes with the gravy. Some in my group ordered pizza, I tried a bite. The pizza was exceptional.

Stopped mid road trip for lunch since they had a dog friendly patio. Prices were good and our server was very kind. Very much appreciated that we had a pitcher of water and bowl for our dog.
