Nice Mexican spot in the middle of Hopewell. We had chips and salsa, steak burrito, and steak fajitas. Service was excellent and the food was fresh. Overall I would like more seasoning and more spice. The salsa was just pico de gallo. I’d prefer something more like regular salsa. Burrito was huge, but too short and fat. It would have been better longer and skinnier. Fajitas is decent value. Expensive but large portions. This is coming from someone who grew up on tex mex. Tomatello is good to great for central Jersey.

This place is delicious! The food is SO fresh! I love that you can really taste each ingredient rather than tons of salt or sauce. Whatever sauces I’ve eaten are great, but they aren’t used to cover up bland food. They’re just really awesome and used to accentuate delicious food! I appreciate being able to taste actual peppers, onions, etc. Love it here!

Absolutely phenomenal! The nachos were perhaps I’ve ever had in my life. The tostada burger was amazing, a totally different take on a burger. Fiancee got the fajitas that I couldn’t stop stealing.

I didn’t like their guacamole (way too salty along with too salty chips) or seafood stew (didn’t taste like fresh tomatoes or have any kind of smoky, spicy/tangy flavor, reminded me of canned tomato soup) but my friend shared her empanada with me, which was really unique and delicious. So I conclude from all the outstanding reviews that you need to order the correct dishes, of which the empanada is one of them. However, it’s unlikely that I will return. Just didn’t enjoy my dishes and know of other better Latin
