A culinary jewel of a restaurant. Don’t let the location fool you. They know how to throw down on some Italian food. My custom pasta order was prepared excellently. Their pizza had one of best tasting doughs I’ve ever experienced. The calamari is a must try when you go as well.

She has a new location but still in carteret right across from the old site but bigger! It’s well deserved. Her food always look so fresh, my favorite is the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken is plentiful and very tasty on its own without sauce but with her sauce and fresh greens. I love it !!! You’ll love it !!! Price is worth it.

Went here for a slice today and the sign at the door said open, but the door was locked… A worker unlocked the door to let me in and shortly after placing my order I noticed that the male worker was not letting the middle school kids in… So I asked him why are you not letting the kids in to buy food? He said there was an incident the day before where one of the kids ordered and didn’t pay and there was other kids with him making noise and refusing to leave… I thought ok maybe these are the same kids so I went about my business… While I’m eating my food a few more kids came to the door alone with money in their hand and they still refused service… I must admit it made me very uncomfortable and upset… I said to the worker you are refusing service to all the children and I don’t think that’s right… It’s one thing to refuse service to the trouble makers, but to put all the kids in the same category it’s totally unacceptable and not right… I told the lady that takes the order that some parents work and the only thing some of these children have to eat is a slice of pizza until their parents get home from work (at whatever time that is)… How can this business owner do such thing… This was a heartbreaking unforgettable experience for me… There is too many bad things going on in this world… I am definitely boycotting this place… As for the food, not great… The place needs thorough cleaning and the valance on their window look like it hasn’t been changed since they open for business (filthy dirty).

Always super friendly when I go there. Wants a huge fan of the cheesesteak, then bread was kind of soft, but the pizza is always excellent. Oh, and them fries…..thanks, you guys!

Honestly? Pizza was STALE. I ordered last night coming to visit family from NYC & was VERY disappointed due to the fact that the “pizza” CARDBOARD STALE DRY could not be swallowed without a glass of water.

Been eating there for over 9 years and the food is amazing. I’m from New York, bronx and the pizza is just like new york pizza. My son and I love this place. Portions of food are big and worth the money. The owners know us and have always been polite and cater to our needs. Great place to eat at.

The plain large pizza was fantastic, what you should expect from a pizza place in this part of the country. I also judge a pizza by how it is when cold and it was really delicious cold as well, so they really make great pizza. Got the wife zuppa did pesce, the spicy option and she said the spiciness took away from the other flavors, I thought it was good, but next time I’ll get her regular and see what she says, she’s really picky.
