My wife and I had a lovely experience eating at Hillgarten. The Pretzel is incredible, they have this incredible currywurst sausage that I’ve never had anything like it before! Also get the mac and cheese. So good!!! The beers on draft are excellent as well. It’s exactly what I want from a Beer Garden great food, great service and a great feel of community.

Had family in town and we stopped at Hillgarten for a few afternoon beverages and maybe a small snack. Hillgarten is a small slice of Germany plunked down in the middle of Hilliard. There is a walk-up serving area to order and take your drinks and food back to your table. A reasonable beer listing (all available to be put into a flight if you wish), a decent selection of wines, and a nice menu of food to either nibble (the pretzel is very reminiscent of Oktoberfest) or a meal.

This is a new place in Hilliard and it’s absolutely amazing! A perfect oasis and great time. The food is incredibly fresh and tasty, they have beers and fresh cocktails and one of the best places to sit outside and have a few drinks. Will definitely be back!

I went here today on a whim and had the best time ever. it was relaxing, charming, good music, nice people, great service, and great beer. I sat down on a nice chair next to a fire pit listening to good music and having a great beer. nice job great vibe great place. very relaxing and old school good time. Update! just as awesome as the first time. Service is 100% excellent and the charcuterie board was great! We love this place!

I am so excited that HillGarten is here.It was definitely worth the wait. The food and drinks are awesome! The staff is kind. The venue makes you feel like you are getting away. I love that they even thought of our doggies. The music and lights and fire pits are the perfect touch. It’s the perfect place to bring family and friends!

This place is seriously amazing! Great selection of beers and the pretzels are incredible. With fire pits and some igloos available to reserve, it’s a great place to visit even in the colder months. Owner is super friendly and has done an amazing job creating this slice of Germany in Hilliard.

Cool chill spot that just opened up in Old Hilliard. The most unique aspect in my opinion was the open layout with nice light fixtures. We enjoyed a few drinks on a Friday evening (stout and sangria pictured) with a plate of hummus. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also liked the spaced seating and even though there were many guests it did not feel crowded at all. Overall amazing ambience. Would come back on another weekend evening for a drink.

Fyi, no indoor dining. Vegan hot dog was yummy and I’m an omnivore! There for lunch so didn’t try any alcohol.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Music, drinks, outside with a fire. I’m not a beer efficianado, but there’s good on-tap options for those who desire uniqueness. We had the pretzel and it was good. I think you need another cup of cheese because the beer cheese was really good.

Husband, daughter, and I checked this place out yesterday evening with the perfect fall weather. Fun atmosphere, but line for food/drinks was long. Sausage charcuterie was pricey, and we all thought it needed some bread or crackers. Patio heaters and fire pits kept us warm after the sun set.
