On a busy Friday night we struggled to find a place to eat. We drove by Ted’s and saw a few open tables. Once inside we were immediately greeted and sat down. Waitress took our drinks and got a menu. Service was amazing! The food was fresh and ready in 15 minutes. Very pleased and will definitely come again and recommend! The other patrons were friendly and regulars as well.

I’ve been looking for a good tasting Burger and finally remembered Ted’s. I’m happy to say it hasn’t changed and the charcoal flavor came through. Good food and great prices. Unlike so many of the restaurants in the neighborhood who have doubled their prices and lessened their quality,Ted’s quality has not changed I never have their prices. Next time I’ll be getting a corned beef sandwich. I can’t wait.

The place itself is cute with the old diner counter and stools, but the cook who I believe is the owner is rude to his employees and not friendly to his customers. The breakfast itself can be good when cooked thoroughly and not plopped on your plate before it’s done which seems to be the norm. We will not be back.

Moved into the neighborhood recently and a friend and I were craving diner food. A family member reccomended Ted’s. I was not disappointed one bit!!!!!! Had the eggs Benedict with browns & it was delicious!!! Definitely a hidden gem, as it is a traditional diner inside with good food to match! highly recommend!

My compartiot and I arrived early for breakfast. She had coffee, eggs, toast and hashbrowns. I had steak, eggs, hashbrowns, toast and tea. My steak was excellent and the hashbrowns were pleasantly crispy. Service was good and we got our food quickly because we arrived before the morning rush. Prices are decent and the only negative is the limited hours. This place has been a neighborhhod staple for nearly a century! The Friday fish fry and ice cream are also worth trying.

Great breakfast joint. $5.75 for special breakfast includes eggs, meat, hash brown, toast. $1.89 for a cup of orange juice. Fast and good!! Def. Recommend if ur in Milwaukee. Times are limited tho. Check the website 4 hours. Pics added.
