The food was delicious. We were there longer than we anticipated (not sure if they were busy or if our server wasn’t as attentive as she could have been), but it was a lovely experience. I’d recommend it and would definitely go back. The carrot cake was a unique surprise.

We celebrated our anniversary here and the professional staff at Charleston Grill made it so special! The jazz band , the food, the drinks were so great. They even gave us a sweet anniversary card! Marianne and Michael were the best. Highly recommended.

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. I mentioned in the notes when I made the reservation that we would be celebrating our anniversary. They seated us beside the musicians (which was the best seat) without even asking and also gave us a card with a happy anniversary wish. The staff was amazing and very attentive to us. The food was so good!!! We both had crab cakes for appetizers which were amazing. We also both had Halibut as our entree and thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t order dessert but they brought us a plate with small selections of treats with edible white chocolate with Happy Anniversary wrote on it. This was probably in my top 3 best meal experiences in my life! Hopefully we can return again one day.

I was looking for a fine dining experience in Charleston and Charleston Grill did not disappoint! The curry scallops were exotic and so delicious. My mothers trout with capers and lemon was great too. Best mash potatoes! We didn’t have room for dessert, but looking forward to their famous carrot cake next time.

Fantastic! I’ll start with that for the people who don’t want to read a long review. My wife and I were in town visiting Charleston and decided to try dinner here. We were not disappointed, our waiter Brian was amazing, all the staff were extremely polite, kind, helpful, funny. Made us feel like family from the beginning to end. We started with wine, by the glass for me, a bottle for the wife, was perfect. Appetizers- crab cake, was one order but served in two dishes, (not something were used to, but should be expected in a fine dining restaurant) the dish was delicious. Dinner- Wife ordered one of the fish dishes (I forgot exactly what one) and I got the Wagyu steak. Both dishes were perfect in every way. My steak was bigger then I expected, and I was not disappointed. Dessert- two espresso martinis and we split a cheese cake. Again all perfect. We did get (as did every table) a small assortment of complimentary chocolate candy varieties. Knowing that was coming we probably would of skipped the cheesecake, since it was a lot and a chocolate overload. Our waiter learned our personality quickly and picked up we have a sense of humor, and with that he opened up more, making jokes, laughing and making us feel very welcomed, respected, and definitely waning to go back simply for his experience. In the end he bought (removed from check) our Dessert, and martini, just to be polite, I can’t speak higher of the service. We highly recommend having an amazing dinner and experience here. There is a reason Charleston Grill is listed as one of the best restaurants in the country.

If you’re in town and want a nice, romantic dinner with your significant other, then this place hits all of the marks. My wife and I went for our anniversary, and they gave us a hand written personalized note, congratulating us, as well as a nice personalized dessert. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, as the staff took note of everything possible. They really cross their t’s and dot their I’s when it comes to the service and taking care of the customers. I really couldn’t ask for a better experience when I dine at an upscale restaurant.

The food was awesome. Well prepared and tasty. Also the presentation was great. For me it was the service. I’m a middle class woman and this was a treat for me and my husband’s anniversary. The customer service was amazing and we never felt out of place even with our questions about the dishes. They were playing live piano and it was a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time having dinner here. They have great options of 4, 6, or 8 course dinners. We went with the 6 course dinner and thought that was outstanding value for the price. The wine pairing option’s of $75, $150, or $300 were a great choice as well, we went with the $75 and thought the wines were fantastic and plentiful. Coming from the Napa Valley, we were thoroughly impressed with the ambiance, friendly waiting staff, and quality. Highly recommended
