Hands down the BEST teriyaki chicken you’re gonna find in the Bay Area. The chicken is cooked well, the steak is medium, and the sauce has ruined most other teriyaki sauces for me. Most Japanese restaurants have teriyaki as the safe option, but at HoT, it’s the star. ✨

Wow, I found a gem in the rocks. This place is amazing. I came across this place on accident while I was driving by, when I saw the 4.9 rating I had to try it. I got the chicken teriyaki, and let me say that I have had chicken teriyaki everywhere, this place kills them all. The chicken is quality and it’s grilled over an open fire with the skin on. The sauce is perfect and you can’t eat much cleaner than white rice and veggies. This is a must try for everyone. The place is very clean and the people are super friendly. I’m definitely coming back here. Next time I will try something different.

I tried this place for the first time and I loved it. I ordered a Teriyaki combo bowl plate and it was delicious. I tried the spicy teriyaki sauce and the medium spicy sauce and loved both. The spicy was truly spicy, I’m use to spicy and for adult its great but not for a toddler. I asked and the lady said it was a bareable spice, its spicier then that. And its like a powder splashed over the food, did not like that. Lol

Photo added is missing two Goyza… I got impatient. I love this place. I always get the mix plate with spicy teriyaki sauce. When they say spicy they mean it. The food is always good and the staff is always nice. If you want to talk about anime, figures and posters to bide your time while you wait for your order. This place is adhering to COVID-19 protocols and are only doing pick up only. Love this place its a nice hidden gem.

Excellent Quality of food. I was skeptical at first looking at the other guys 1 star review. But everyone is different and I’m diggin the mild teriyaki sauce! Will be coming here agian. I wonder if they can do sauce on the grilled chicken only and leave a small cup for the katsu chicken. Since the sauce will make katsu breading less crispy.but other than that its a 5.

Not great food. I went there seeing the high rating and did a takeout. They charged $15 for the teriyaki plate, which was too high imo, and it just looked sad. Some leaves for veggies, no broccoli, very small container of teriyaki sauce (shown in the picture) not even sufficient to coat 50% of the chicken pieces. Going to Panda express next time i crave teriyaki plate

By far some of the best teriyaki out there. I have tried plenty of places and this one has some of the best steak teriyaki ever. No other place can compare to the steak they prepare. Usually places give thin slices of steak or ribs, but this place gives big cuts and perfectly cooked to your desired state. They also have solid sides of egg rolls and gyozas that are nice and crispy. They sometimes have some milk tea that is also good. Highly recommended

Bomb teriyaki place at an affordable price. You simply cannot beat the quality of food at this price point, yet alone the quantity. My wife absolutely gets cravings now for their teriyaki steak. Their hours are a little shorter due to staffing as of late but we try to order from them whenever possible.

Love the teriyaki here! You get really big portions and I love their house made teriyaki sauce. You can taste the quality in their food. Highly recommend checking this hidden gem. I always get their beef but their chicken is just as good!
