First time stopping by since I was in the area and there are no Jamaican food near me. Portions were huge (enough for 2-3 meals). Curry chicken was very nice. Will definitely consider returning.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and I never leave reviews, but I have to say they really dropped the ball this time with the food. I was charged $26 for a large oxtail plate with barely any plantain and the amount of oxtail I got was the amount for a small. I understand the price of things go up, but don’t cut corners in the process. I’d prefer to pay full price for a good quality meal.

Granted, I showed up for dinner at around 8:15pm. They were already cleaning to close down at 8:30. I ordered the jerk chicken and rice and peas. I asked for extra jerk sauce but when she opened the box to show me, it didn’t look as if she put any on there. Anywho, home to take a bite and it tasted OLD! The rice and peas were EXTREMELY dry & stiff. The meat tasted like it has been sitting out for days and it was a tad discolored. Never again will I eat from this place. If you’re gonna try it, maybe go earlier in the day. Hopefully the food is fresher.

1st and last time ordering food from this place. I ordered the jerk chicken dinner w rice and cabbage. Well, Im not sure what this meat was that I was given, but it’s not jerk chicken. I ordered this for someone so I didn’t know how it was supposed to look . When I made it home and checked the food, I knew why the lady piled it in the container …because whatever it is, it was tastless and dry, & so was the rice. The jerk sauce didn’t help. $15 wasted.

Service is always great here, I’m a regular visitor here for lunch. I always order a couple beef Pattie’s with my order be they Taste great here, not made in house, but still good. The rest of the menu items are good too, I usually order jerk chicken or stewed beef. The oxtails are on point too. Small mom & pop operation so you know they’re putting love into the food! They get busy at times during lunch, just be patient when waiting. They do take phone orders!

Great authentic Jamaican restaurant. I’ve read complaints about the older woman that manages the restaurant, but she was incredibly nice to us and let us try the goat curry before we decided on it. I had the goat curry, cabbage, and rice & peas. Everything was very flavorful and cooked to perfection! I will definitely be back.
