Authentic home cooked breakfast. This was the exact breakfast I wanted. But better. The owner was nice, and talked up her food with love. The gravy was amazing, and eggs cooked just how I asked. This is no longer Madewell’s Corner Cafe’. They sold the business. It is now Corner Cafe’ under new management. It is open from 5 in the morning till 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Sat. morning for breakfast. Stop in and check it out!

My first experience with Owensboro,this diner was filled with locals that knew each other and happy-go-lucky! The server was kind and took care of us,the food was delicious ! We pay for our food the server thank’s us for coming told us her and husband owned the restaurant and he was the cook, he asked me for my name and shook my hand and insisted we come back! Customer service was five star and the food and the atmosphere was five star as well!
