Decided to try a new spot and glad we did. Food has a homemade taste. I had a burrito. Wife had chilaquiles and kids had a burger. Love the green sauce. It’s spicy with a kick. No long lines like other breakfast spots. Sporting a local business is a plus. Great job Picosito.

Used the coupon I got in mail…2 tacos and coffee for 4.99. The guy charged me 4.99 and 6.99. He said only one of us had a coupon. The coupon read…good for two people. We got the four tacos but he charged us 4.99 for 2 and 6.99 for 3 (5 tacos but we were only served 4 tacos. I see in comments that overcharging is a huge issue here. That is theft! I still left a 50% tip to a guy that tried to rip me off. I should have known how bad it is when the place was empty. Dear Owner…this is not good business….NEVER AGAIN….Will warn my neighbors.

Today was our first time visiting & we really enjoyed it! The pancake was excellent the chorizo and egg plate was perfect! It was so awesome NOT having excess grease on the plate from the chorizo. That’s a great chef in my eyes. The owner was friendly & courteous.

Stopped in for the first time this morning. Good sized menu for a small place. Clean, comfortable, excellent service. Breakfast tacos are on the small side compared to a place like Tejas Cafe but perfect for me. Will definitely return to support a local neighborhood small business.

I’ve eaten there three times and the food and service were great on every occasion. Pollo al carbon, caldo de pollo and huevos rancheros were all well prepared and delicious. If you enjoy home made cooking fare, you need to give them a try.

Tacos were gross $2.50 for a small taco with package tortillas and tasted like canned beans. I would at least expected home made tortillas for that price. Never again.

I usually don’t write bad reviews then let the public know because I support small businesses and won’t only the best, but I had a horrible experience at this establishment. The food was average not like other Mexican restaurants I’ve visited. The service felt rushed and the portion size was limited. Having been in the food service industry I’m a customer who treats waiters with the upmost respect and appreciate their service and I show it. The service was nice but when I told the lady I did not receive my other food item she and a man (the man took our second order) argues (not like a fight but questions me in a way that made me very uncomfortable and I was in no way was combative. I merely articulated to the lady that we did not receive our other taco. The family who shared a table with us agreed with me that the male did not bring me the other taco. What really bothered me was their customer service. They did not own up to the fact they did not bring me my other taco. And it Was very Unprofessional on their part to stand beside me and debate me. We were more then capable of paying for the extra taco but it was about principle. Portion size did not match price and serving cold syrup with warm pancakes is not good.. They also serve orange juice in warm bottles without bringing you a cup or even a cup with ice. I felt like I had to ask for everything. I would not have given this establishment a star at all but had to. The food was bland and had no flare. I’m sure others have had great experiences and I’m not taking away from that but my experience was unpleasant and I will never go back nor will I recommend this establishment. What made it even more bothersome was how they did what they did in front of my children but I stood up to them and was firm that I had not received my other taco. Please understand we could afford another taco and we were not trying to take advantage of this restaurant. I wish no ill will on this restaurant but I’m grateful I can take my business else where. Only tried them today because the Jalisco down the street was packed. Ordered the crispy taco plate on my lunch break from work and was highly disappointed. Service was good but my food was cold and very salty. My tacos had barely any meat, rice was room temperature and refried beans were cold straight out of the refrigerator. Did not want to complain but I will never go back to this place ever.
