If you’re looking for something fancy you need to find a different place; However, if you want an old school style hamburger and other like comfort foods, you need to try this place out. What a great burger with that open fire char flavor that I love and with fries that are pretty darn good too. More matchstick style then most places, but they are very good.

One of the most underrated burger joints in the tri-valley. Fries are not overly salty. Double char burger with cheese is great and a super solid BLT. My favorite is they actually sell chocolate malts which you don’t see very often. Total grease pit but man is it good, just don’t expect anything fancy.

Just drive a little ways from the junk food by the freeway and have totally fresh hand made burger at this place. This is the kind of place that the locals use. Like I had when I was a kid in my hometown.

Great burger! But, place needs a remodel and the old lady at the register needs an attitude adjustment. She seems bitter and you can feel it. Your life decisions aren’t our fault sweetheart.

The burgers are a classic diner style cheesy and and delicious. The beef is juicy, bread is airy, and the beef has a great smell with a light yet noticeable and tasty char to it. Feels like a real backyard burger from the past. The fries were also very tasty and fresh, made when I ordered it and had the perfect combination of crispiness and fluffiness. The entire burger itself is only off 1 star due to a lack of anything extraordinary in terms of flavour but it is an otherwise terrific burger that I highly recommend, definitely hits the spot.

Don’t let the facility exterior turn you away. A very unique location with walk through order window and interior with a homey/old time feeling inside. The facility did have some strange issues like the chairs being a little warped, but good food at a good price. Lettuce wrapped burgers were wrapped thoroughly and didn’t spill. Service was helpful and attentive as well.

Absolutely delicious. As soon as I finished one of their cheeseburgers I was craving another one. Throw in the crispy fries and a float and it’s a party. Really love the flavor, it’s simple and good. The outside looks old, but its a clean operation. John makes a great burger
