This is an authentic, Bavarian (German) restaurant with lots of great options. I rated the food with four stars because I have had better, but it’s still excellent. We loved the “dinner for two” option, which gave us a sampling of several items on the menu for a good price, and all of the dishes were good. The biggest surprise was the live entertainment, a live musician who comes on the third Saturday of every month. We lucked out by being there on his performance night. He plays polka music on the accordion and piano and sings. The guests were dancing and having a great time, and they were able to make requests. We loved it.

Excellent food! Solid German fare, and I say that as someone who was stationed in Germany for years. Service was great, too. Brought the check early but stressed that the was no rush to leave; very convenient and I appreciated not having to wait around afterwards for the bill.

I came here with my parents and really didn’t enjoy the experience. The owner didn’t really care at all and the food just didn’t taste good or had any flavor to it. The only redeeming quality was a very friendly waitress who was super nice. I unfortunately won’t be coming back here again, which is a shame because I was rooting for this one.

Great place! The decor was half German inspired half new wave. The food, however, is top notch. I enjoyed all of it. The potato dumpling was thick and starchy, just like I know it. The kraut was well seasoned and warm. The potato pancakes were outstanding. Not sure what applesauce they served it with, but it was all good. Didn’t try the beer, but the spirits were plentiful, wide in variety, and overall affordable. And it’s only $1 for a mini “Das boot,” shotglass to take home.

Great beer selection, the food was great, and the service was remarkable. The owner came over to see us, made recommendations, and was very friendly during the visit. It is a little on the pricey side, but 100% worth every penny. Make sure someone tries Max’s favorite, you’ll thank me.

Absolutely fantastic service, food and excellent beer all at a locally owned and operated restaurant / pub. Their pork loin broke da mouf– it was delicious! The beer selection (German draught) should satisfy anyone willing to try something new. The ambiance and service was amiable but not overwhelming! It’s great for a quiet drink at a local spot or for a gathering of you and 20 of your best friends (recommend you give them a heads up in advance).
