Surprisingly good food for a place attached to a gas station. I ordered the catfish plate with homemade potato chips and red beans and rice as the side. The fish was great bur the homemade chips were amazing. I’ll definitely stop there when I’m in abbeville

This place is pretty awesome considering it’s attached to a gas station. Really good food. Just walked in looking for some cracklin’s but they didn’t have any in their display. The super nice lady said she would be happy to weigh some out and fry them up fresh. How’s that for service.

Love their shrimp. Prices are reasonable. But why a place named after New Orleans would use bread other than N. O. . French bread is beyond me. The bread they use is very dry and doesn’t taste good.
