This is our second time here, no disappointment. From salads to burgers or anything you try is very delicious. Reuben sandwich was very, very good; it had the perfect balance with sauerkraut, chicken salad Croissant sandwich was good, typical not the best, just to expect. Falafels were great and fresh. Pet friendly and great customer service.

Our waitress was awesome! She was very nice and did an amazing job. The food was really good and our steak was cooked to perfection, it literally melted in your mouth and was not chewy at all and full of flavor. I really liked their chimichurri and it’s not something you find often around Sparta. Beautiful environment and very clean! We had a great experience!

Went here for a show. Very nice venue. Everyone except the bartender was very nice. We were waiting for show to begin and I had a beer, a glass was brought but I had a koozie but was not allowed to use it. I had a couple beers during the show and was waited on by a very nice waitress. The show ended and the band was selling merchandise and people were mingling, it was a few minutes to 10, I went to the bar to order another beer but was told the bar was closed. I went back into where the band had played to wait on my husband. As we were leaving probably 15 to 20 minutes later we had to pass by the bar area and to my surprise there were people at the bar drinking beer. If I were intoxicated I could understand him not serving me but I had only 3 beers in 3 hours. Very dissatisfied in his service, other than that it is a great place.

Great ambiance, plenty of seating, and an absolutely wonderful server. The “caviar of the south” (pimento cheese plate) was fabulous, and I ended up getting the spicy pimento cheese burger as well. It was cooked well and the crispy edges of the bun were especially memorable. Cooked just how I like it. The potato soup I found very bland. They have a good selection of ciders and beers as well as a bar. I ordered off menu and got a hot chocolate with baileys. Perfect for a cold day

In Town of Sparta for Music on Main, but weather forecast moved the music indoors to Muddy Creek’s Music Hall for the Gospel group “Dedicated Men Of Zion”. The food and staff are always great! If you get a chance to see this hard kicking Gospel group DO IT! They’ll put your soul right where it needs to be.

We showed up just before closing, we got our order in just in time. Food was good, although I went hoping for chicken salad or meatloaf.

Had a nice dining experience at the Muddy Creek Cafe in Sparta, NC. The double bacon cheeseburger and fries were served fresh, hot, and quite tasty. My server was friendly, quick, and gladly answered my questions about different items on their extensive menu. The cafe is full of rustic decor and peppered with great local works of art. The cafe was quite clean and designed to allow customers plenty of personal space. The food portions were of a better than average size but prices were also slightly higher than average as well. The sweet tea and pickles were very good. I will definitely stop in again when I’m in Sparta.

My second visit to Muddy Creek, as good as I remembered. Server was very friendly and helpful. She answered our questions and was attentive while we were there. We ate earlydinner, so they didn’t have musicians yet but they were setting things up for it.

You should just leave when it takes 5+minutes to get seated even though several staff say she’ll be right with you. Nearly an hour for house salad and cheese curds. So many times staff brought someone else’s food to our table. Other reviews suggest maybe our visit was an off day. But it was way off.

Just stopped by here on 8/19 with my inlaws. We spent the day in the New River area and were coming back through Sparta. Went in and stood there with my wife and inlaws waiting to be seated (no line) for 4 minutes. No one wanted to wait on us. Yep, we’re from a foreign place…..Mt. Airy. We turned around and left.
