This is Nashua’s best kept secret. Truly the hidden gem in this town. Authentic Southern BBQ. Eat bite reminds you if the SOUTH. The food is delicious. This is a MUST STOP. Besides the 5 star food, you get southern hospitality. The service is 5 stars. Truly amazing food with generous portions. Don’t leave without trying the Wings, ribs, pulled pork, smoked brisket or hand cut fries! Oh yeah and the peach cobbler is the best. Hands down.

Delicious and moist pulled pork with fries that tasted like they had just been cut and peeled and fried. The Cobbler was to die for and there is a great group of people working here that really makes the atmosphere perfect. Highly recommend stopping in and trying this place out!

Shelby’s was great! We took our 3 daughters there for the first time. The food was phenomenal and plenty of it. Good price for the amount and quality of food. The service was excellent. Shelby brought our 3 girls a huge brownie sunday since it was their first time going there. He also brought my wife and I a delicious peach cobbler.

Awesome small BBQ joint. Food was authentic–brisket was tender and flavorful, sauces were tasty, and spicy, and not just a sugary slop. Best coleslaw I’ve ever had. And great service and atmosphere. Prices were fair. Definitely worth getting off the highway to get a bite here.

This place is absolutely phenomenal, some of the best barbecue in all of Iowa. Their homemade barbecue sauce is excellent. I highly recommend the hot one if you enjoy some heat. The pulled chicken and brisket are both awesome with or without sauce. Got the mac and cheese and coleslaw for my sides and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Nashua.
