Let me state right from the start, I am very picky about my food and I will send it back if it is not the way I wanted it! This was my first time ordering from Evergreen in Hagerstown and I was super impressed! Food was hot on delivery (Door Dash shout out) but more importantly the food was great, fresh and all of the dishes were very tasty and good. Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Curry Shrimp, 2 orders of Chicken wing combo! Great first impression.

I LOVE Sesame Chicken, only downfall there were no pineapple chunks. I use to be a faithful customer of the other restaurant on Virginia Ave (if you know, you know) but they’re dirty more and more I go in there. Food is not as good as it use to be.

This is a legit carry out Chinese restaurant. General Tso Chicken was tasty. Spring Roll and Hot Sour Soup are good. I really want to give 4 stars to this clean and good American Chinese food joint because the fried rice did not receive approval from my kids. The portion and price are good so I change it to 5 stars. I will be back tomorrow.

Each time I order from here, it’s better than the previous time. The only thing that I haven’t liked were the steamed dumplings and sometimes the fried rice is too greasy. I wish they offered delivery outside of third parties.

My 1st and only experience there was absolutely horrible. I don’t know how others gave this restaurant s high rating. I spent almost $50 for the worst Chinese food. Plus I traveled 30 mins to get there. The house fried rice had a strange taste to it. It looked and tasted like it was made with instant box rice. None of the food was fresh. I ordered shrimp egg for young and it had no flavor it tasted frozen then heated up. The shrimp they used was the frozen kind. The orange chicken was not fresh chicken at all. It was stringy. I will never go there again or any other place that ratings that high. I wasted all that money and never finished the meal.

Great Chinese food! It reminds me of the Chinese food by my parents house over an hour away. This is the only Chinese restaurant I order from regularly. I’ve tried others and it just doesn’t compare to good quality, old fashioned Cantonese Chinese food this place serves.
