Looks like a country shack, but the food inside is really good. This place has been a mainstay in Cochran, GA for many years, and they continue to delight. We enjoyed the chicken fajitas, the pollo chirizo, and the chorizo dip. All good stuff. Can’t go wrong when you eat here.

La Cabana was your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. I’d think of it as Jalapenos, but better. I ordered the steak fajitas. They were good, I just wish it came with more tortillas instead of three, because I couldn’t fit all the fillings in only three. However, the staff was very friendly and took our orders almost right away.

Was in the area for work for a couple of days and had to grab lunch here every day. I would personally really recommend the Mexican Torta of “asada”. I have to say this place is really good and this is coming from some that was born and raised in Mexico. I had a work crew who are all Mexicans too and they enjoyed it too.

Stopped in today while passing through Cochran. Had a very friendly waitress who recommended the house special. I have had this type of fish at several restaurants but this one definitely took the cake. Very reasonable and the food was hot and fresh.

I ordered a CHILE RELLENO and was given a single slice of a pepper, no bigger than a slice of a jalapeño, covered with beef and cheese. (An authentic chile relleno is made from roasted poblano peppers stuffed with cheese, dipped in a fluffy egg batter and fried until golden brown!)
