Was happy to stop in at Checkers a couple of times recently. I used to go to Checkers when I lived in Miami and always liked the red onions and sauce on their burgers. The Wendy’s nearby was closed without explanation recently, and I was happy to have Checkers as an alternative. The service was good.

I’ve come here twice now 30 minutes and 10 minutes before closing (sorry!) because they’re the only place open on the way home usually (also their fries are literally the best) and both times I’ve had great experiences, especially Friday 6/2. The owners are nice and very respectful and the employees always smile and serve you fast and as for fast food,the checkers burgers are as great. I recommend them way over McDonald’s, hardees,and …ugh. burger King or a red Robin which still serves a frozen pre-made burger. Give checkers a try. You will be happy.

I have tried this Checkers 3 times now and each time I leave even more disappointed than the time before. I always give a place 3 strikes before I cross it off the list of places to eat. Burgers are dry, fries are rubbery and the milk shakes are tasteless and leaves a film in your mouth, the staff is not friendly and seem like you are bothering them/interrupting their social time. Sad to say I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I like Checkers they’re very nice and friendly and they’re fast and efficient went everywhere looking for a soft serve ice cream and finally we went to Checkers and they had them and she says they always have them they have good vanilla flavor or a strawberry or strawberry swirl and they were really good I’m going to try the hamburgers one day I would go there again

I really love Checkers since I was introduced in Atlanta however this one just doesn’t measure up taste-wise….the service is always top tier. The people are great. The owners/managers are of the business are nice and helpful…I just don’t get the same quality of food as I get on the Southside of Atlanta or even in Marietta, GA.
