Breakfast was delicious. Omelet, breakfast sandwich, eggs, bacon, pancakes. They were out of biscuits so that was the only let down. Adorable Halloween decorations and free pool table. A couple big tvs also.

Pretty decent food and prices. We had a cheeseburger and grilled turkey for lunch. The french fries were crunchy and yummy. Staff were friendly and efficient. No longer Windjammer – for those searching Google for places to eat near moclips/ocean shores (as we did). The restaurant is a market & Cafe within the hotel/resort, almost no signage – we saw a flag banner with “market & cafe open” by the driveway when we left. It opened at noon on Monday.

I wasnt sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We had dinner 2 different days and breakfast one day. The breakfast portions were decent for the price but my potatoes and English muffin tasted of grill grease and not the good kind. A lot of items on the menu were not available, but the biscuits and gravy were decent. Those were large biscuits. Hillbilly Benedict was ok too. The fish and chips was really done well both nights we had that and the fries were good too. The fish was not hard or overcooked but just right so 5 stars for that dish. Onion rings were also really good, side salad was nicely prepped. Clam chowder was creamy and thick. A little salty but with crackers you probably wouldn’t notice. The brisket dip was pretty good. We were all happy with that. (We shared meals) Portions were huge compared to what we are used to around Seattle area and a lot cheaper, so for the price the dinner items were good quality, tasted good, and were generous. The breakfasts would have been rated higher for us if it weren’t for the kind of chemical taste of the grill grease. Bacon was perfect. Giving it 5 stars because for what this place is we felt it delivered well and the staff were all very nice. We were glad to not have to bring a bunch of groceries with us. We did both dine in and take out and had good experience with both.

It’s an alright place to eat. Typical 90’s small town northwest eatery’s which is a very good thing for me. The food was alright. My wife got the 1/3 burger. Decent salad with it but the burger was small, probably smaller than a cheeseburger from McD’s, just over decorated with condiments. My friend for the fish n chips. Quite delicious, fries were perfectly seasoned. I had the 4 cheese tortellini. First impression was delicious, but then flavor got boring the more you eat it. I started to hate it and now that I keep thinking about the flavor, I want to barf. The aroma or flavoring technique was over complicated. Just keep it simple and clean, no need to impress a Gordon Ramsay.

Jumped in for recon on Wednesday night, 5pm as I didn’t have a good feeling about a place on a naval station “getaway” base. Four locals at bar nursing their rocks glasses and looking like something out of Moe’s Tavern on the Simpsons. One family in restaurant.

Very convenient to have a store available with all the items you would need. We were also able to rent camping chairs. Very cool there is a bar and food here.
