I called the waitress Darling D, she is a very hardworking, beautiful smile behind the long black hair. She is so attentive, so kind and does not miss a step. Please take care of her, she takes pride in her work, and works very hard each day. The chef was incredibly gracious and kind, I ordered a seafood boiled platter and he had made a small mistake, but as we know mistakes are made, and it’s up to you to turn it into a positive manner, if that’s what you believe in, and I do.

Our family friend lives down here and has been raving about checking out this diner and we finally did yesterday. We happened to hit an off peak time so it was nice, we basically had the whole diner to ourselves yesterday afternoon for a super late breakfast/early dinner. My husband and I both got the Irish benes and the hollandaise is beyond delicious. Can’t wait to come back to check out their lunch and dinner options next.

The menu was huge. My Philly bread was crispy the fries clearly deep fried to perfect. The gyro was delicious. The waitress was polite and attentive. Love the decorations of the restaurant. It’s walking distance from the truck stop which is awesome. The price was super fair. They played hit music from the radio which when usher came on I almost had to get up and pop lock n drop it. Funny story when another worker walked by he asked how we where doing and I said delicious of course assuming he would ask how’s the food . If you read my reviews please give me a follow here on google. I review restaurants across the country. Highly recommend this one it was awesome.

OMG! I am highly impressed with the food, it is spectacular. Very clean restrooms, dining area, and kitchen. This will be a must stop every time I am passing through. It was our waitresses birthday today and she was awesome. She recommended the Sole and it was the bomb, it came with homemade soup fresh steamed broccoli, baked potato and pudding homemade it all was so delicious . The boss is very helpful and friendly, and made our visit special. All the cakes and desserts are homemade. Online food orders and outside delivery service delivers.

I’ve had a hankering for a good home cooked breakfast for a few weeks now and this place did not disappoint! The eggs Florentine with grits was a sizable portion and it filled me right up. They had a nice selection of tea as well. The waitress was attentive and the staff was nice. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area. I highly recommend to my fellow truckers.

If I could give the food a zero that’s how disgusting the gyro was. I had to cut the gyro in four pieces pieces because there was so much diced tomatoes that old and very distasteful with the gyro sauce on the side in a plastic container which didn’t make sense because I was eating inside the restaurant. My husband asked for a medium bacon cheeseburger and it was rare so all he ate was the fries. The decor looks like something out of a 1950’s grandmother’s kitchen.the booths & tables were so sticky. I will not be coming back to this restaurant nor will I be recommending this restaurant to any of my family & friends. The only good thing about this restaurant was the very nice waitress. May God bless the people who eat your food.

Doing a reset so I get to be lazy today. There’s a diner across the street from the truck stop(which only has Popeyes and Starbucks) so I decided to walk across for a good breakfast well it turned out to be an awesome breakfast with a few surprises. Surprise #1 they have grits on the menu. Surprise #2 they’re not instant grits they’re the real thing(cooked in a pot not the microwave). Of course some of you may ask why those two things are surprising well the answer is simple I’m in Connecticut where just finding grits on the menu is rare and then to find that they actually know how to cook them without using instant grits is even rarer. The fluffiest french toast I’ve ever had topped with Nutella was amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my liking as was the bacon, the sausage and ham were delicious. Service and atmosphere were on point. I really can’t say enough nice things about this place. They were somewhat busy but the food was still delivered in a timely manner and still hot. If you’re ever in Branford, CT I truly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and absolutely delicious food! I had the Baked Manicotti Parmigiana with Meatballs and it was phenomenal! Huge portions at very reasonable prices. I was able to make two meals off of this one serving! My waitress was so attentive and very friendly!

Philosophy of Trucking
The word “diner” is in the title of this restaurant, but I think it is misleading. I’ve never had food of this quality at a diner. From their Irish Eggs Benedict to their stuffed seafood dinner, the quality of food here is on par with higher-tone restaurants, not that the environment is bad at all. I don’t know who does the cooking, but both shifts do an amazing job. Lunch or dinner, go out of your way to eat here.

Would definitely recommend. Wide range of foods and great customer service from my experience. Across the street from the T.A. if you’re a trucker! Worth it. Also they have stuffed grape leaves which I love!!! The cold kind if you like them too or wanting to try.
