Went for the first time and was kind of shocked at how small it was. I’ve heard many talk about it so thought it was bigger. It seems old and rundown. Definitely needs an update inside. New cabinets, ceiling tiles, paint job, wall decor, kitchen, etc. The idea and the history is such a neat little charm of Nixa.

A cozy step back in time. Everyone was friendly and the staff took great care of us Food was plentiful and did not disappoint. Coffee topped off on the regular. Our son had pancakes bigger than his head. My 2 eggs over med w/ hash and sourdough toast was perfect and the Mr. had chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy so he doesn’t need to eat again for a day or two! Asked for hot sauce and our neighbor patron handed us some and the waitress thanked him by name.
