We just left stonewall’s award winning bbq but the main question we left with was where was this “award winning bbq”? Do we have to pay more for that? Sadly our chicken was over smoked and bitter and our sauce was bland without any other sauce options. Our ribs were ok but definitely not award winning. 45$ for a family deal? I don’t recommend it, your taste buds may be happier buying a popeys family deal and dousing it in bbq sauce.

We’ve enjoyed Stonewalls in Picayune, so we were looking forward to eating at the Ocean Springs location. I had ribs & white meat chicken, my husband had sausage & dark meat chicken, my son had kids chicken with mac & cheese. It was all around unimpressive. None of us finished our food and we threw it all away. Dry, chewy, & lacked flavor.

We are here from Texas for a baseball tournament and decided to go to Stonewall’s after a 11 hr drive. What an AMAZINGLY delightful experience!. Great customer service AMAZING food. When we come back…..def a place we are stopping!

I’m a local but don’t eat out a whole lot due to my my wife being a gourmet chef , but I was looking at the reviews and looking for a good bar-b-Q place around here since all the ones’ I’ve tried on the coast were either nasty, over priced or all of the above. but after seeing the owner argue with Scott Nina about her comment which I agree with 100% if you dine in you should not be charged for Bar-B- sauce bottom line, end of story and I’d say out of the 20 plus Q places I’ve eaten at in my 43 years I have never been charged for sauce while dining in(they all have a bottle on the table) and as for the owner saying no one has ever ask for extra bar-b-q sauce 1.) there is always a first time for everything which doesn’t mean just because its the first time it should be taken less seriously and 2.) if your charging .50 cents for a little cup of sauce I wouldn’t ask for any extra either I just wouldn’t come back(its the little things that matter the most). And I’m not sure what the follow up remark about chik-fil-a was about but? That’s the finest fast food place in the country and the reason you never see a whole lot of people there at once is because they have got things so streamed lined that you are in and out with your food in 60 seconds(which no one else can say) and they have a huge section of free sauces, ( Bar-B-Q sauce being one of the sauces) Ketchup, mayo and mustard that they don’t charge one extra cent for so how dare you talk about them! I’m not even sure if this stonewalls is even still open but if by some fluke they are you lost me and my family as customers if for no other reason but to argue with a paying customers comment who still gave your dumb ass 3 stars ! But not me!!!

Decent Bbq. They charge .50 for extra bbq sauce which comes in a tiny cup. I’ve never eaten at a bbq restaurant that charges for bbq sauce.
