Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We really liked the restaurant decor. The grilled chicken tasted delicious. I had broccoli and pulled pork. Loved both, BUT the food should have been hot–not tepid. That is my only complaint. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Get Lost
Did not expect much, seen for years but never tried. Best steak I have ever had in a restaurant. You beat the ribeye at the Capital Grill in NYC! Everything was absolutely perfectly cooked. My go to place when visiting my mom. High quality cut cooked to perfection. Thank you chef!

This had a very small unassuming buffet, but the flavors and seasonings were spot on. The owner even “invited” me to get a bowl of the soup he had just made, without charging me extra for the salad buffet, which was very very very small. The soup was absolutely one if the best chicken noodle soups I have ever had!!! I had the whole place to myself, for which I was surprised! They kept my water glass filled which was a big plus!!

It’s in a little shopping center, not easy to see. Four for dinner. Salmon, swordfish, chicken, steak entrees. All excellent. The rib eye was melt-in-your- mouth tender. Sweet potato fries wonderful (one order plain and one with the standard sugar. Zucchini fritters are not fritters but sticks with panko crumbs. Tender crisp, well done. Steak fries also good. Creamed spinach OK but wouldn’t order again. Very attentive service. Will definitely visit again when in IL

A great place to get a home-cooked dining experience in Fairfield, IL. Every time I’ve eaten here the food has been top notch, the restaurant has always been clean, and the service has been wonderful. I would recommend the ribeye to anyone. A great place to bring the family, or a date.

It’s not really a bbq place although I figured it would be. They have bbq but seems like more of a burger place. I had the bbq platter and while it was good I was disappointed. With the theme being hinting it was a smokehouse I expected better. The food is okay though.

We had the buffet. The food was great and varied. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating even though we didn’t have reservations and there was 22 of us. Great to go for lunch after church.
