In my opinion Sandwhich House Tres has much better fruit sandwiches. I ordered $85 worth of these and while they looked beautiful and the fruit was fresh, the whipped cream was not good at all, it was like eating fluffy oil/butter. It was not sweet at all. I ended up picking the fruit out and wasting all the rest of the ingredients. Also the strawberry jam and Nutella ones were really hard in the middle, at first I thought maybe it was because they were cold but I left one on the counter for 5 hours and tried it again and it was still hard. At Sandwich House they also serve the sandwiches in two separate slices which makes it much easier to eat, the ones from here look prettier but are impossible to eat without the fruit and whipped cream falling out all over you. I definitely should have tried one first before ordering $85 worth for my get together with family and friends. I would be willing to try one again another day and increase my rating to see if maybe whoever made them that day messed up when making the whip cream.

Cute place that’s perfect for lunch takeaway. You order at the kiosk, and it’s ready within a few minutes. Tried three “inari” and one onigiri. This isn’t traditional inari – there’s no rice inside, but instead there’s salad and whatever filling you decide on. It’s very full of fish so I found it delicious and filling enough, without the food coma after. If you want something with rice, I’d get a lunchbox or onigiri.

I’m a huge fan of Sushi J so I was excited about their sister shop. The onigiri is huge! They have a microwave where you can heat it up if you want. The spicy seared salmon inari was my favorite! The inari was well seasoned and they pack them in mini containers.

The experience was 5 stars the food was maybe 3. I ordered the mixed fruit cream sandwich, salmon onigiri, and salmon poke salad. If you have been to the 7-11s in Japan, the food reminded me of the kinds of things you can get there. Which is good but not amazing. But I don’t think the food is really the point at Jae’s Lunchbox. The atmosphere was very nostalgic to a school cafeteria. There are microwaves for customers to heat up their instant noodles and everything is served on a lunch tray. It was a really charming and fun experience eating here!

Self service, which is cool. The place is small, clean, and it has utensils with a microwave if you would like to warm up your onigiri. I had the salmon onigiri, not bad (salmon had a nice flavor), but not wow by it, I should have added a little soy sauce or sweet chili. However, the strawberry sandwich was delicious and interesting (in a good way), definitely would eat it again or the orange sandwich.

Jae’s lunchbox was an excellent lunch time treat. If you’re nearby and want a refreshing place to try out I’d highly recommend this eatery. They make onigiri, poke and other eastern quick bites.

Absolutely love the grab and go style. Onigiris are so yummy (mentaiko is my fav). Their fruit sandwiches are great here too! The bread is soft and combines well with the not too sweet cream and tart strawberries (I always get the strawberry one)

Such a cute spot! We’ve had this on our list for a while. The scallop poke bowl (not pictured) was a perfect amount. Light and airy fruit sandwiches, as promised. We’ll definitely be back soon!
