Absolutely that best soul food around… When you walk in the vibe is all love. Beautiful Art work and greeted as soon as I walked through the door. They were singing while cooking so I knew the food was gone be good. I ordered the fish and shrimp with yams and Mac and cheese with a side of potato salad…. 10 out of 10 Recommend… Desert was banana pudding that you can tell was made with love… Keep doing ya thang ladies. Definitely recommend ordering ahead as it’s made to order but that’s why it’s so good Hot and fresh.

Absolutely the BEST soul food spot in the area, her smack n cheese is THE BEST Mac and cheese I have ever had, the food portions are great, the service and atmosphere is amazing, one thing you can feel is the love this place puts in there food and cooking and that is in my opinion the greatest thing about this restaurant!

I was so disappointed when I decided to try here for the first time. They only had 2 people “actively “ working another was babysitting and entertaining someone. I was told my food would take 20-30 min it ended up taking an hour. The yams were soupy, the rice was mushy, and the only time the other worker decided to jump in and help was after another customer and myself spoke up about the wait being a half an hour. I really was hoping this would be a new black business I could support regularly, but unfortunately I will not be going back. The food was not worth the wait and the wait could have been avoided with just a little professionalism.

Listen!!! I forgot to take picture to show the scrumptious food before I devoured it. This spot tops all the soul food spots I’ve eaten from. The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and the establishment is very clean. I am happy I found this gem. Ohh and don’t forget to try the banana pudding.
