I ordered 2 crispy tacos combination plate. Overall the food was good. Crispiest taco shells ever! Tacos nice although it does seem they used roasted chicken breast, which would be good (compared to a lot of places use a steam table wet chicken mix), but the chicken was a little dry and over browned. The other taco fillings were good and eating enjoyment was there, and beans and rice were good. The small dining area is clean but hard metal chairs are not comfortable.

Lourdes is a great Mexican place. I go to Cardiff location a ton and was excited to try their Carlsbad location. Very clean restaurant. The breakfast burrito #5 and surf and turf burrito are my favorites. Everything I’ve tried is good. Soup is tasty too.

This place is phenomenal I have been going to the original location in Escondido for a while. Even though I live at the beach. I would have given a 5 star rating but my problem is that they serve the soup in a to go cup. It’s not the same and the actual bowl. Can we get the bowls not a cup please??? I will definitely visit the place but not as much until they get the soup in a bowl. Highly recommend this place !

Finally a Lourdes in my area! They have the best chicken soup with lots of fresh chicken, avocado and cilantro. It’s a bit spicy which makes it even better. The place has only been open for about 5 weeks, it’s very clean including the restroom and has great customer service. I’m so glad they come to Carlsbad.

Shoutout to the chef that was working the weekday lunches! He was a 10/10 so good!! I was addicted and went back several times that week. (Week of July 12th). Went back during the weekend and the food was a 3/10 not good. I can for sure tell the differences of the chefs. Went back again today (Friday food was a 5-6/10. Hoping the chefs can all learn from whoever made the impressive food. I want this to be my new spot since Cessys closed.

First time visiting this establishment. Definitely happy with the quality of food. Cleanliness of restaurant was prestige. I ordered the fried fish tacos, and rice & beans combo. Tacos were little coated with crispy batter and flakey fish. Salsa bar was clean and organized with tasty options spicy and mild salsa’s . I will definitely go again to try other options on their menu.
