Food was pretty greasy but fairy good, decent portions. Service we had was very knowledgeable and great help. Would’ve given 5stars but employees let a cpl bring in a dog they said was a service dog but clearly was not, sitting on the bench being feed human food! Highly doubt it lady! But would definitely go back and try other things!

Amazing friendly staff, a team that really cares about the food they serve, and the best fried pork tenderloin in northern Illinois! It was worth the trip just for this place alone. I can’t wait to return to try the other items on the menu! If you’re wondering wrecking balls are cheese hash brown balls with jalapenos. The fried pickles are the thickest I’ve ever had and the garlic pickles used are perfect when fried! Ok just go and check this place out.

I am a fried chicken aficionado. It’s my go-to. dirty Bird didn’t fail…I got the 4 piece dark dinner. 2 large thighs and 2 large drumsticks. Crispy, crunchy batter fried chicken was amazing. Cooked perfectly! Chicken was juicy and the batter just added to it. Came with house made chips which were ok but we did carryout. I am sure they would be crunchier if we ate in. Cole slaw was creamy with a little tang to it. We got an order of mushrooms and they were so good! Definitely try them! This was our first time but won’t be out last. Service was great, Gabriel is a really nice guy to chat with while waiting. No chicken in a pan waiting for an order here…had to wait 15 minutes and was well worth it. Give Dirty Bird a try..lots of great chicken and other good stuff on their menu. Next time it is a pork tenderloin sandwich..saw a few go out in pizza boxes! Almost forgot..the sauces are awesome!

If I could give this place a sixth star, I would. The food was very tasty and the service was top notch. Our server, Mick, I believe, did an excellent job. He was attentive but not overbearing, kind and gracious, and should probably teach hospitality classes to other restaurants across the state. I’m in terms of food, everything was solid. Our order was delivered hot and quickly. I got the Dirty Midwesterner, which is basically just a horseshoe with a breaded tenderloin, and while the cheese sauce could use a little more depth of flavor, the tenderloin was perfectly fried and tasted great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and if you are looking for some good fried food at a decent price, this is the place for you!

The place was super busy with carryout orders, but we still got great food and service. I highly recommend the wrecking balls, and the chicken is can’t miss. When it comes to sauce I enjoyed the combo of the spicy and bourbon bird sauces. I really appreciated that when my son was experiencing some issues with the TV being on (ASD) they were very sweet about offering to turn it off. I can’t say enough good things.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was VERY good. Hot and fresh! The Sunday bloody mary special (Bourbon Bloody mary) was awesome as well. It’s no wonder they were so busy, because this place is awesome. Will definitely be making a trip back soon.

Stopped here for the first time tonight and was so impressed. The food was outstanding and the place was incredibly clean. But, what was most impressive was the service. Our waitress, Susan B. was so attentive and kind. Our son has special needs and sensory issues and she was understanding and was willing to go out of her way to make the atmosphere more comfortable for him. Someone else brought our app out while we were ordering and she was super friendly and smiling. We will 100% be back. The wrecking balls were awesome. Definitely worth getting. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was perfectly fried and the sauce was great.

Found this place thanks to the app upside and I’m so happy I did. My partner and I ordered the app combo, I got the buffalo chicken wrap and she got the filthy fry. The size of the deep fried pickles made my jaw drop, the yummy batter they deep fry is so frickin good. The cauliflower was so good itself and then deep fried, mouth watering. The ranch, you guys, the ranch I would drink on it’s own it’s that delicious. The pulled pork is the tenderest pork we have ever tried ever. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Charlee W was our server and there is nothing bad I could say. It was a great experience. Cooks are fast and talented. If you haven’t been here and are close to it, you need to go.

The food was delicious. I had fried chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had the gizzards and livers. They were delicious. Next time I’ll order the livers only. I also had the wrecking balls. They were delicious as well. My wife had the smoked chicken wings and they were excellent. I definitely want to return to this place. The server was really nice. The owner was very kind as well.

This place is insane. The gods of fried food. The pork tenderloin is bigger than my head! The cheese curds are delish. Homemade chips too! You could easily split the sandwiches in half & share if you dare. The service was wonderful too!
