Love this food truck! I am from the south, so I appreciate that there is great bbq in Salida. The prices are reasonable too! We got the pulled pork sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken tenders. We put the spicy sauce on the sandwich and it was super yummy. Try it first, though, because it packs heat. The sweet sauce is a good option if you don’t like spicy food. They have seating, cornhole, etc but we went across the street and ate in the park so we could listen to the 4th of July concert. Our dog was very jealous of the meal, but it was too good to share (okay, maybe we gave her a little). Highly recommend!

Really cool spot! On Friday, they had live music, which was fun – lots of people were hanging out and enjoying the music and food. I didn’t expect to find decent bbq in a small mountain town, but this place was really delicious! And they have three kinds of house bbq sauces (mustard, sweet, and spicy), so you can customize according to your preference. Just be careful because the spicy is ACTUALLY spicy. Good food and good vibes from the people running it. Five stars!
