What a great find this is my second trip back! Had Lobster nachos and they were out of control good! First time I didn’t realize they had a second story deck so I took advantage of that. Food was phenomenal service was outstanding in the view is gorgeous. Met the owner angie, super friendly and you can tell everyone loves working there and serving up great food and service. Just have to figure out what I’m going to get there next!

Have eaten here many times. Never disappoints. Great brussel sprout app, and some of the best calamari we’ve had. Anything with lobster is excellent and plentiful. Fish or shrimp tacos are also great. Quality and portion sizes of everything are excellent.

We sat on the upper deck, overlooking a small marine inlet with dozens of nice boats..we arrived early at 11:30am on a sunny beautiful summer day. The service was prompt, friendly..fried seafood platter we shared was delicious..found a hidden gem..we’ll be back…☀️

We had a lovely experience as we watched the sunset from the outdoor patio while eating their tasty lobster roll and fried belly clams! I wasn’t a fan of their lobster bisque though, I’ve had better ones from other restaurants.

Diamond in the rough! Stumbled upon Shanks while visiting CT on vacation. AMAZING food & staff! Such a unique concept ordering food from a boat and sitting by the water. Highly recommend the lobster tacos. The dessert is to die for as well!

Excellent, outdoor, oceanside seafood spot. Prepare to wait in line, the check in process is slower than expected, but everyone is very friendly. They allow BYOB at $3 per person, so we brought our own wine. The crab Rangoons were made with real crab meat and the dipping sauce was spicy and sweet. The fried Scallops platter was a good size and they tasted very plump and fresh. My wife tried the loaded lobster bowl with 8 oz of lobster meat in a bread bowl of lobster bisque, simply amazing. We finished the meal with the ice cream sandwich, which they make to order with fresh, warm cookies. They say vanilla ice cream, but you can ask for any flavor they have, so we tried the mint chip ice cream and it was scrumptious. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

For a place that is BYOB, I expected the food to be pretty good. It was pretty pricy, but nothing we had would make me want to come back. Really just not a good value even though it’s got a nice view. The food, even though there is lobster and what not, still tastes like something you’d get at a little league game.
