Zane from Zane Adventures took us out to eat. At Swan restaurant in sweethome it was wonderful service Speedy wait time even though it’s Valentine’s Day. We got in and got a table. Even though they were really busy they made time for us working really hard. We will definitely be back.

I enjoy Chinese food every now and then, the food is pretty good. I always order the same thing, she charges me differently each time?? , i love hot mustard i have to ask for a container 1 oz. cup she gave me one then removed the little packet from the bag, like it cost her more than my meal, Come on give me the mustard!

Hearty meals, amazingly fresh and hot- we have never had any trouble at Swan Chinese. We really like the staff and the owners are speedy and friendly. Just be ready to order when you call. They are usually lightning fast answering the phone.

We had two orders of honey walnut shrimp with fried rice, lo mein and crab puffs for $48 and some change. I ordered the food to go. The service was nice, the lady was helpful and answered my questions. The food was not what we expected. The honey walnut shrimp turned out to be prawns with the tail on and they had a lemon flavor in addition to the Sweet Walnut sauce. The rice and lo mein were pretty plain. The crab puffs we’re good though I didn’t like the sauce it was more runny than the thick sweet sauce I was expecting. The portion size was really good. Unfortunately most of our food went into the garbage and we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

They told us our to go order would be ready in 20 and we ended up waiting a hour for it. There menu is not updated and what should have $30 worth of food ended up being $66! The food honestly is not worth it considering I can drive 15 minutes and get the same amount but better quality food for half the price.

Customer service is always lousy and waitress/ owner is careless about making sure we had everything. We ask for things and she doesn’t come back. I’d rather drive to the next city than come back here. I’m giving it 3 stars but only because the food is good. Really needs some changes though, or else it will be just another empty restaurant with a For Sale sign out front. Sad.

Rice was incredibly dry and tasted like it had been reheated a few times. Or waitress was the owner, and was obviously not counting on tips as added income. Went ten minutes after she saw both an empty soda and water glass before coming back to our table to ask if we wanted a to-go box; when i asked for a refill, she looked confused and repeated the question about a box without acknowledging the refill request. I said no to the box and had to ask again for a refill as she was walking away. She returned with a half-full refill then proceeded to sit two tables away and eat. Didn’t get another refill as she refused to even make eye contact again and finished my meal 10 min after finishing the “refill”.
