This was not a good place for me to eat. The chips tasted stale, the salsa tasted like it was from a jar in the market, tap water which some do not care about. The taco not horrible, but the tamale was very bland. I ate a couple fork fulls and had the waitress get rid of the rest. I tried a Mexican hot chocolate but that just tasted like bland chocolate water. Not creamy. I ate the whipped cream, took a couple sips and that was all I could stand. The music was a radio station, not Mexican music. The disco balls are a little out of place. The food is disagreeing with my stomach so I won’t try there again. The positives were that the whipped cream and cinnamon on top of the hot chocolate was tasty, the waitress was nice and asked a few times to make sure the order was correct. The people there were very nice. The restaurant looked nice and inviting.

Had a great dinner here. Beautiful outdoor dining located on the Main Street of a pretty little upstate village. I had the chicken cheese chimichanga special with a frozen blue iguana and my friend had a beer and burrito. We both loved it, and walked away full. I even had left overs to take home that were my dinner the next night and the total bill was less than $50. Well worth the trip!

What a beautiful place with lovely owners and staff and gorgeous decor. Great margaritas and food. Carnitas were fabulous! If you don’t live in the area it’s worth the drive.

We ordered enchiladas, soft tacos & beef tamales along with margaritas to go. Having come from California with a Hispanic & Latino background I was very delighted with the beef tamales , it really was a “taste of home”, we have a “tortilla” factory back home & I felt like I was there! If you stop in, say hello to the owners granddaughter “RENEE'”, she’s a sweetheart & will make sure you have a wonderful dining experience.

Food was great. The owner however treated the waitress like complete garbage in front of all of the customers.

Just a really bad dining experience. Waited almost an hour for our food, with no explanation. When it finally came each person’s food came out about five minutes apart. There were only two other tables.

Before going I looked at the website where they claim they serve authentic New Mexican food so much so that “if you haven’t been to New Mexico, you’ll feel like you have after trying our food!” This could not be further from the truth. Chips and salsa were not house made. Salsa was straight from jar. My burrito was supposed to have pork that had marinated in lemon and garlic. There was some tang to it but absolutely 0 garlic flavor. Guac was watery, cheese was cheep and pre shredded. Over all boring flavors especially for the price. Flan was pretty good, water was better.

If you’re passing through the little town of Cambridge New York, drop in for a surprisingly good meal. I’ve been twice, both meals were good. I had the carnitas street tacos the first time, the meat was tender and juicy. The second time I had the chorizo burrito and crispy rolled beef tacos, both also good. I tried a house made horchata with a shot of fireball, OMG try it, it’s so yummy. Call ahead, they do tend to vary hours.
