Opened in 2018 by chef David Willocks and designer Wendy Braun, The Baker’s Table Restaurant was named one of the Best New Restaurants in America by both EATER and USA Today.
Since its roots as a brunch spot, the restaurant has transformed into a cozy and refined dinner destination. The weekly-changing menu is created by Chef Porter Lewis and focuses on seasonal produce, whole animal butchery, hand-made pasta, and hearth-baked bread. The beverage program features soulful Old World wines, and an apothecary-like cocktail program.

A stellar experience all around. Service was spot on. The menu offered a delightful , curated array of options—just enough to make me wish I could try everything, but not enough to overwhelm. Plus options to accommodate gluten free and vegetarian diets. We were delighted by everything we ordered and the ambience is lovely.

This was definitely the most unique tasting experience I’ve had in Cincinnati so far. The menu changes weekly and the food combinations are unthinkable. I loved the combination of fats and acids, cool and warm temperature in the individual dishes. Just wow! The service was also very outstanding! Probably the most attentive staff with refills, replacing wine chillers, replacing dropped utensils, clean up and check ins. This is NOT a place for picky eaters and I actually LOVE that!! You get what you get…and you won’t throw a fit…but really…you won’t 😉

We came here for Inuhakka Ramen 2.0. There was a set of courses. Everything tasted OK. I have had better courses – especially for Ramen-Japanese dishes. The appertizers were too salty, the broth was also too salty. Not the best Japenese meal experince.

The food was delicious, however the price was quite a lot for what you get. The spinach pasta was tasty, but it was a very small serving. We had a reservation so we got seated right away, but it took a while for a server to come to our table and get our order.

Such an amazing dining experience. The absolute perfect place for your next special dining experience. The staff Is so knowledgeable of the offerings and provides top notch service. Side note but important, some of the nicest restrooms I have experienced in a while. Unique, convenient offerings in there including hand lotion and styling paste.

The human being I’m married to and I had a wonderful experience at The Baker’s Table to celebrate our anniversary. I could go on and on, but to sum it all up, everything was awesome. The service (Mercede was the best!), the food, the drinks and the relaxing environment. When we go to visit the area again, we will definitely be coming back. Thanks y’all!

We had a brunch the other day and it was fantastic. Staff was on top of things and the atmosphere relaxed. Of course it’s what’s on the table that matters most and we were not disappointed. We each ordered counter to the other so we could share a wider slice of the menu. Salad, smoked trout, pork hash, chicken sandwich, doughnuts and ice cream. This seems like a rather simple lineup. It was anything but! Each dish was outstanding. We highly recommend The Baker’s Table.
