I was surprised to see this quality of seafood in what I might consider a sort of chain in the city. I came for lunch and had three fish tacos. They call it crispy fish and it is unexpectedly actually crispy despite the salsa Verde placed on top. The double nixtamal tortillas are nice and durable to hold all the veggies and sauce, though tacos are by no means a clean-hand affair.

Walked by and saw the picture of the fish tacos and their tequila shot special. Immediately turned around and walked in. Was very pleasantly surprised. Delicious tacos served quickly with a generous pour of a shot. Great little low key spot off the main path.

Basically a better version of Taco Bell cantina. Solid fast casual spot for takeout or a quick lunch. Would come back; looks like they have contracts with all of the tertiary distributors. So a taco place with no Heinz, Sysco, Pepsi, Coke, etc, contracts. Long story short, the food is good and I would come back.

I got the BAJA CRISPY FISH BOWL for takeout and it was so good. I have been passing by so many times but finally ordered. The bowl has a generous amount of fish and rice and beans. I added guac (because you know… guac….) and everything was yummy. I also had churro which was okay, those are best when freshly made, not really good for takeout but not their fault. I will try some more things on my next trip to the Big Apple.

Went on a lunch break. Prices are decent and portions plentiful! Carne asada burrito was huge and delicious and they actually took a moment to spread the ingredients so it’s not just a succession of pockets like some nearby places. I am well pleased!

First time. The (crispy) fish taco was good. Happened to try an adobo shrimp one also and first of all, she put in 4 shrimp. They do use those tiny corn taco shells, but come on, 4?? So I asked if I could have a couple more and she said 4 is all they put and if you want more, it’s extra ($2.75, which is half the cost of a taco there). Adding insult to injury, the adobo shrimp was not good. It almost had a soapy taste, which I think was the result of the “fishiness” of shrimp mixed with that spice combo they use. I would not order that again and likely would not try any of the other adobo stuff for fear of the same. But the [crispy] fish taco was good. That I would get again.
