Was kind of annoyed at first because we were told to go wait by a pole to get a table and then sort of left there. Then the manager came out and asked if we were told that it was to-go only. I said no and pointed out the gentleman who told us to wait to be seated. She graciously let us in and seated us which was awesome because my kids really wanted to dine-in. Celeste was our server for the evening. She was absolutely amazing with my kids. She catered to them the entire visit. The food was great and the fries were bomb. It was a great visit.

Service was pretty terrible. I’m not necessarily blaming the waitress, there were half a dozen people in the kitchen and one waitress bussing and serving tables. Food was overpriced. I ordered a burger, $9. didn’t come with anything. The bacon cheese fries were just canned nacho cheese with bacon. My kids meals were equally tragic. The grilled cheese was more like barely toasted. I think our food sat a while because nothing was hot. My daughter ordered a milkshake and it didn’t come in 25 minutes. We had to leave so I asked to have it removed, which was accommodated. I wouldn’t recommend going to this place at all. Honestly, McDonalds would have been cheaper and tasted better.

A very tasty smokehouse burger! Everything was very tasty and delicious during my visit, and the wait staff was amazing. This Johnny Rockets location is conveniently located inside the rivercenter shopping mall with access to the riverwalk and Alamo square.

The food was greatvery tasty and they have gluten free options. The only downside was sitting out in the walk area in the mall. The homeless walk through and smell horrible while you are eating. Their tables are also super flimsy so be careful when you dine in the outside area. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The inside dining area was very full. Overall would recommend it to anyone needing a quick bite. The cheesey fries were very delicious.

We ate at the one at the San Antonio Riverwalk. Absolutely, hands down, THE WORST experience I’ve ever had. We paid $52 for a Philly cheese-steak sandwich, a plain burger, a cheese fry, a cheese tot and two drinks. I wouldn’t even complain (even though those prices are insane), but my husband ate a bite of the sandwich and said it tasted weird. He thought maybe it was just a fluke, so he took another bite. I could tell by his face that it was nasty, so I tasted it. It was terrible. We told our waitress and she apologized and spoke to the manager. The manager came over and said “Sorry. We can’t take the sandwich off. We haven’t had any complaints about it all morning, sooo… ♀️” My husband asked if she thought he was lying and basically got no response. He walked out. I paid the bill. $13 for a bad sandwich. $11 for a burger with some onions and cheese on it. Plus the other stuff we ordered (which tasted “just okay”) was definitely not worth it. I’ll never make that mistake again.

The food was ok, but for $96, you expect better. Customer service sucks, manager and staff are unprofessional, they need more training and a better leader. They don’t acknowledge you when you arrive. It takes forever to get your order, the food was ready but no one was expediting. The tables and seats were greasy and dirty. Overall not worth the money and also not good vibes, better go to Whataburger or BK. I will eveerr coming back!

Will never go here again… Didn’t eat, because we walked out!! First, a group sat outside in the mall area due to being a larger party, they started cleaning a booth for us (a party of 2) One of the ladies from that lg group decided they wanted to eat inside afterall and take up 2 booths (1 that was already being cleaned for us) so they told us wait, they’d seat us elsewhere…. we got our booth, sit down, our waitress brings fries to the group behind us… being nosey since this was my first time here I watch the waitress return the fries to the kitchen because they were chili and cheese not bacon and cheese only, which is what the table behind us wanted… we ordered, and yup… chili cheese fries were a part of our order, later adding onion rings to our order as well, which had both been sitting under the warmer since we were seated… I’m sure behind closed kitchen doors it happens ALL THE TIME… but when those 2 plates were brought over to us BEFORE our burgers had even come out, and they were both clearly soggy as hell asking the waitress to please return them and return with fresh ones arguing they were fresh and she had burned her hand on one of the plates. After explaining to her we watched those two plates sit there since before we ordered she annoyingly argued we had no clue as to what we were talking about… grabbed them frustrated to return them to the cook… even our drinks were horrible… my tea came with little to no ice…we left… I WILL NEVER RETURN..

The food was decent. The place was dirty and service was not good the staff was not very friendly. We waited over 20 minutes for a burger! They got our order wrong. We will not be returning. This was our first and last encounter with Johnny Rockets.
