There is so much good I could say about this place but it would take a whole essay to write on. Ever since I got crohns disease I’ve missed having pizza. This is the closest I’ve felt to having joy while eating a pizza. The gluten free crust is amazing and they use the same non dairy cheese brand I use. Not to mention the vibe of this restaurant. It may seem like the rest on the block on the outside but this place has so much charm to it. The paintings on the wall and so much more like the music give off the best vibes. Their tip jar is even a can of tomato sauce.

What’s going on foodies it’s your fave local vlogger last night I had PIZZA BOX for the first time….I know I know lol but hey better late then never. I ordered the Carnivore Pizza House San Marzano tomato sauce, boar’s head shredded mozzarella, house-made meatballs, boar’s head pepperoni I also added garlic lol when it came out it looked different then expected not gonna lie lol Diced pepperoni? Shaved meatballs? The crust was perfectly charred sauce tasted delicious and the diced pepperoni hit different! All I can say is wow great pizza! So far, I have found the pizza options in Tampa to sub par. The one with critical acclaim is Fabrica, which hits around number 75 in national rankings. I don’t get it. It’s good, but if it gets a national rank, then we are all in deep dish trouble. Then again, Berns steakhouse is highly ranked nationally, but its just a lousy tourist trap. Critics know nothing and they don’t even go to the places they rank. It’s all nonsense.

Update] 3 years later pizza box is still king. We did a half pepperoni and half angry goat. Both were amazing. The crust is what makes this pizza. It had Great char around the edges and as well as the under carriage. AND we also got the meatball starter! Delicious! I love this place. Skip the chain pizza shops and come here. You won’t regret it.

Such an amazing spot! Decided to eat here last minute and the vibe was everything. Excellent service, 5 tables, good music and nothing else to distract you from the delicious pizza being made right in front of your eyes. They also offer vegan cheese which was great for me! This is 100% our new spot.
