This is our first time visiting McAllister‘s deli. When we used to go visit my daughter at Illinois State University we always wanted to stop but never had the time to. So glad that there is one closer to us now. It was very clean on the inside. They have so many tasty things on their menu. The French dip the macaroni and cheese and ham and Swiss sandwich are all wonderful. The ultimate nachos were very large, and had so many ingredients on them. Everything tasted exceptional. Fast service hot food very clean interior.

When I want a salad this is the kind of salad I want. The Asian crunch salad is jam packed with veggies. Everything is crisp and fresh. And absolutely love the sesame ginger dressing. That’s my recommendation.

I felt the need to share a review because I absolutely love McAlister’s and always purchase the Savannah salad whenever I visit. I’ve gone to different locations and always felt the quality of the salad was the same UNTIL today visiting this location in Orland Park. The quality of the chicken as very off. It was very chewy and there were huge chunks of lettuce hearts in my salad. Even the “Sherry Shallot” dressing which I love was off. I think this location may be using cheaper ingredients than what I’ve become accustomed. I also gave 1 star for service because a staff member stopped by my table to ask if I needed anything. I responded pepper. She never returned with it. The next time I saw her, she was wiping down a table. I could understand if I was visiting during a busy period but that wasn’t the case. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant at this time. I went to the counter to get the pepper myself (Note: I’m not sure why there weren’t any pepper shakers on tables). The restaurant appearance was fine and the music quality was good but I wouldn’t visit this location again.

Food was gross. I ordered a half Reuben and cup of potato soup. Corned beef was so salty i couldn’t eat it and bread was soggy wet, soup was thin. My son got the French dip and the meat was dried out. Mac n cheese subpar. I wanted to like it. If you’ve ever had a great sandwich at a deli, don’t expect the same here. Gal at register was nice and professional. Place was clean.

Man let me tell you, came for lunch today ordered a Caesar Salad to go but decided to stay and eat, As I’m eating Susan(believe that’s her name) came over to me asked if everything was fine told her ofcourse thank you, about 2 minutes later she came over with a to go water without even me asking. Just the service from her alone I will be back here definitely. Thank you so much!

Make sure to sign up for rewards, not sure why we have a choice to tip. Thry really don’t serve you but I tip if the experience is exceptional! I feel weird having to leave my stuff on table, I perfer to empty out my own food and clear my own table. Manager is nice to go around and check how we are doing. Wish prices were more reasonable but I guess it’s just the way the world is these days.

Let me start off this food is amazing. The staff works very hard to make sure that everything gets done correctly. The staff maybe the younger generation however, they are completely respectful and always make sure that your orders are correct into their best to correct him if there is something wrong hands down really great place to go.
