8/23/2023: Update to my previous review: As I mentioned earlier the food (French Dip and fries) was excellent during my first visit. So I ordered the same french dip today and food was terrible. Meat was overcooked and very chewy. French fries were soft not like the first time (See attached pictures). I could hardy eat half the sandwich. May be the chef has a bad day. I will give them one more try to ensure it was just one time issue. I hope the owner is looking into this review.

Me and my boyfriend have been eating at this restaurant for months and have loved it but today marked my reason to never go back here. My boyfriend had door-dashed it today and to start it took almost two hours for him to even get his food in the first place. But when he got his food he thought it was really good and left some for me. Later I was eating it and was about to eat the next piece when I noticed a big black spot in the chicken and stopped and saw that as seen in the picture the fly had been cooked into the chicken and instantly felt sick to my stomach. After this experience I cannot recommend this place any longer.

This was my first time here, and we tried the wings and a burger. It took almost an hour to get the food. The burger was good. The Bourbon wing sauce was great! The Mango Habanero was pretty bland. The wings are crispy (not breaded), which is how I like them. I’ll come back at some point and hopefully they’ll have more staff to get the food out in a reasonable timeframe.

Wanted to try this place for a while and finally took the wife for lunch. Overall, much better than I expected. Anytime I see “sports bar” I’m always worried but this place is like a southern style B-Dubs. Wings were awesome! We got a 10 piece “hot” wings with sweet potato fries which were also yummy. Super crispy! I got all 3 sandwich sliders and onion rings. Burger, pulled pork, and chicken. They were all good and the onion wings were crispy and had a great flavor. For an appetizer we got the pulled pork fries with cheese sauce. Great way to start the meal. Decent beer selection for Hampton Cove which I enjoyed during the meal. Definitely the kind of place to have a drink, watch some sports, eat some wings, and relax with friends. Only knock would be it was slow to get seated, but with so many people not working recently it was well within limits. I’ll just say that we didn’t come for great service. We came for great atmosphere and great food and we left very happy.

Went there for dinner. Was in the mood for a burger that was nor “fast food” style. The server (Rochelle?) was quick to the table within seconds of being seated. We asked what she recommended and one of the options was “The All Amarican” burger. It was prepared to perfection. She was on point all evening and service was impeccable. Great service, great food and friendly staff.

The waitress was wonderful and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was a okay nothing great but not bad either. My wife’s and sons grilled chicken sandwich and adult grilled cheese were greasy. My daughters shaved ribeye quesadilla was good. The buffalo wings were good but the sauce was really vinegar tangy. Would try again if we were in the area just might order differently.

We have been to Tailgaters twice in the last month and have been happy with both visits. First, we came specifically for the wings, which did not disappoint. They came out pretty quickly, were perfectly crispy, and were tossed in plenty of sauce, no stinginess here. On our next visit, I wanted to try something other than wings. We got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the Redneck Nachos. Both were very good and I would absolutely order again.

They were very busy, but service was still pretty good. The pretzel could have been cooked longer….and I’ve never understood why they put so much bread on sandwiches, 3 layers…to make them look bigger? I had to pick most of the bread off. Tiny slivers of tomato, asked for raw onion and got enough for 1/4th the sandwich. Otherwise it wasn’t awful. They refilled drinks within reasonable time. Mainly American bar food, not much fresh here, just fyi! Would be great if I wasn’t pregnant; I can’t eat any of that heavy fried stuff as of now.

Good little lunch spot for a casual hang with friends. Menu has your standard sports bar food with some fun extra options. Oddly enough, their side salad is fantastic! Most dressed up I’ve ever seen one! The buffalo chicken quesadilla was really good, but I definitely had to ask for extra buffalo sauce. My only downside was that we were the only people ordering at the time and our food took almost 45 minutes to get to us. Others were walking in the restaurant when we were ordering that we were literally the only people getting food at the time. There were only four of us. And then several other tables received food before we did. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. She explained the whole story to us, so I don’t want to hold anything against her. It wasn’t her fault. But I’m hoping next time we go the food will get out of the kitchen much faster. That was a really long time to wait for four meals at a sports bar. My husband and his friend go there decently often and really like it, so I’m very sure we will be back soon to giev it another try.

Went for lunch on 5/18 for lunch. Ordered wings and a quesadilla. Took over an hour to get the order and the chicken quesadilla came out with no veggies or fries and barely any chicken. Oh by the way, it wasn’t very crowded. Seriously?? I felt bad for the server as customer after customer walked out and she was so sweet.
