Love small non-chain Italian restaurants and this place proved why. Outstanding red sauce. The eggplant parmigiana was such a large serving I thought they mistakenly brought me lasagna. Some of the best I’ve had. My BIL told me they made their own sausage and to get some as a side. Great tip and great sausage. We had so many leftovers we’ll be enjoying the meal again later.

Absolutely amazing! From the minute we walked in, Matt the owner was so accommodating. Ryan our server was out of this world! My drink glass never sat empty, and the timing on the food was perfect, not to mention absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we don’t come here often cause we live 600 miles away, but whenever we are in North Carolina we make it a point to stop in.

We had dinner last night, Shrimp Ala vino, and was so good. The garlic bread was great. I wish it had extra garlic butter. House Cabernet Sauvignon had great taste. Will definitely visit again. Waiter Karina and owner Matt know how to really take care of their guests. Two guests, appetizer, wine, and dinner.

This is one of our many “go to” post golf meal’s after a round at Sandpiper and it just never disappoints. The service is always spot on, the menu has fantastic choices and Matt’s daily specials are always to die for. Whenever you need a truly Italian fix this is the place. Reservations are usually needed unless you’re real early or it’s beginning of week.

Arrived early after reading reviews and recommendations of reservations. We were able to get a table and boy were we happy. This place is lovely. The food, atmosphere, service, quality is phenomenal. We ordered the clams and mussels in white wine. I had a special w fish and hubs had the filet and shrimp. We also got a dessert to go. Everything was wonderful and fresh. Cannot wait to visit again.

The food is always good. This was our 4th time having dinner here, and we think it is one of the best Italian restraunts in the area. Service is always good, and the staff is very detail oriented, so you can count on a very good experience. La Cucina is very fairly priced and a great value for your dollar. Try them. You will not be disappointed!

This place is so good! Highly recommend reservations though, as the restaurant itself is small inside and very busy. We got the chicken parm and the manicotti with alfredo sauce and shared them (see photo), they were both outstanding (and so much food)! Also, complementary garlic bread was amazing! Entrees also come with choice of Caesar or house salad which were great too.
