We had an event at our store and decided to use Bowie Barbeque. The customer service was great and all I saw was smiling and friendly faces with the entire staff! The store manager and Ms Donna were extremely professional with helping me set up our menu for the event. All food(ribs, meat trays, baked beans and potato salad) was perfectly prepared and delicious!!! They really helped our event be a 100% success!!! I couldn’t thank those two ladies enough for helping us! I would definitely use Bowie Barbeque again because the store manager, Ms Donna and the entire staff! Thanks again!!!

Great place to stop and eat. We drive 40 miles round trip just to come eat here . It’s not fancy it’s old time setting and old time log cabin. In the winter months the fire place is very nice. The staff is nice and the food is good . Even though this is a BBQ place they do serve outstanding fried catfish . I order it almost every time I go. All the meals are good and you get all you can eat hushpuppies with any order and they are tasty. So if your wanting a easy laid-back meal and good food give it a try we like it. O the unsweetened tea is also very good.

A bit hidden off the highway, but if you’re paying attention and find it, it’s worth it. They’re open six days a week – very unusual for a barbeque restaurant. The ribs are done right. Just twist the bone a little and it pulls right out. Brisket is tender and flavorful, and the smoked turkey is a great choice too. I didn’t sample the chicken, but it’s likely just as good as the rest. The garlic mashed potatoes have a slight smokey flavor. Good cole slaw. Very friendly staff and a lot of antique tools and other items throughout in a rough wood rustic building – just the right atmosphere.
