I ordered yesterday on door dash. I spent about 70 dollars and was served junk. The fish was so tiny and burnt. The fries had soaked up so much oil they were translucent. The potatoes were 4 dollars and it was literally one red potatoes cut into four. The chicken wings had zero flavor. Fries were as previously stated. The firecracker shrimp looks a lot different from the picture. Shrimp was just as greasy as the fries. The fried corn was ok. The fish was the size of the shrimp as you can see in the picture. Very small portions. Kinda chewy. Rule number one don’t serve your patrons something you wouldn’t serve to your own family.

First timer. New to the area. Tried this place and I was a little skeptical. Bc of the location (inside gas station) I am glad we gave it a chance. Fried catfish was very good. Cheesy fried potatoes is a soup lol and it was actually good. A little heavy so I will only eat that every blue moon. Greens tasted good but seems like canned greens in my opinion. Bae got the catfish nawlins a little oily and had little crawfish but otherwise bomb flavors! Staff was very friendly! Would go and support this business again✊

My husband and I went here to order take out and the food was immaculate and amazing! We both ordered the Large Catfish Plate and they were delicious. The catfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the skin had a great texture. The collard greens with ham hock and the cheesy crab fried potatoes were equally amazing and tasted great. My husband has tried many places claiming they made soul food or good catfish but had always been disappointed. BUT, after the long search, this is one of the places that actually means it when it comes down to soul food and great catfish. I definitely recommend people to order food here!

We were so pleased that the food here was just as good as the pictures. We ordered the lemon pepper spicy seasoning which it seems like they just add a hot sauce over the food. The lemon garlic seasoning was so good I would recommend that if you don’t want spicy. The crab clusters are well worth every penny! The catfish was not greasy and seasoned very well. The only downside was the corn on the cob was over cooked and we tossed those. We will definitely be back because it’s the best we’ve had in the area finally! Jasmine was so nice and very helpful. Thank you

Normally when I see gas station food it’s an automatic he** no for me. I’ve been hearing so much about the place I had to try it. Food was good and the portions are great. Got their pasta ( I know it looks weird in the pics lol), and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was!! I may change out the sausage next time for that dish. Also, a crab leg boil ( sorry don’t recall which one) , which was good also.

This has to be the best food we had in the area so far. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Do not allow the aesthetics of the location to turn you off. The food was really good and the staff was super friendly. We will be back to try something else on the menu. We ordered the grits with fish, grits with blackened shrimp, and grits with fried shrimp. We also ordered the corn and it had a really good flavor with a bite at the end. OMG…the food was amazing and it is made as you order it so it will take a moment to get your food. I would definitely recommend this establishment!

I’ve been here a couple different times, and I’m sad to say that I’m very displeased. I personally know the owner and master chef, and never once have I had the luxury of actually being served the food that HE is cooking. Everything on the menu looks so mouth-watering, however it does not come out looking like that. I don’t know who is working the kitchen… The crab legs that I was served were extremely skinny, and once cracked open more than 3/4 of them were actually empty…. No meat in the crab legs … Everything DROWNED IN BUTTER.

Seriously? $18 for this?! The first time I tried them was amazing. Every time since then has been a disappointment, with tonight’s order being the most disappointing. I understand inflation but come on y’all? Where is the rest of my food?!

The place was ok. The food alittle pricey though. You should be able to get 2 sides for the price of the food but instead they charge you for the 2 sides which is usually unheard-of. The sides are pricey from $5.95& up the food was ok. Cabbage over cooked and dirty rice was mushy. First time experience and I was looking for a good Cajun shrimp restaurant to go to. I spent over $54. The customer service was good. I just don’t think you should charge extra for the sides. I may have missed reading something. A out of towner looking for some good food.

I came back to killeen and visited one of my favorite family owned business for the catfish nawlins but I am very disappointed. The rice was cold so I decided to pick up the catfish and shrimps in order to reheat the rice then found these black nasty things under it. Pretty sure these are not part of the recipe… it was way too much and tasted burnt so I gave up. Paid over $21.00 for this portion and quality really upsets me.
